My opinion is a scammer couldn’t risk trying to seal a raw MJ ASM 252 himself/herself before sliding into an inner well before replacing the original comic in the empty 9.8 holder. Using one that CGC HAD actually sealed into the inner well would look to even a discriminating eye to be untampered with when received back at CGC for reholdering and the custom label. In other words. He could have bought a sonic welder to seal the case, presumably easily, but not an inner well, which he wanted cgc to do to look correct and have both the one swapped and mark jewelers in one... Hence why the need to crack and submit to CGC to sneak it by them... I think

If I'm to understand? The one sending in for reholder, resealed a different book instead by buying and performing a sonic welder? Then sent it to cgc for the reholder? And cgc missed the difference in the book inside? Presumably becuse it is coming out of their holder and assumed or didnt then want to admit to "damage from the holder" and went ahead with the book and reholder?

If the graders Notes are truly different, that yay or nay confirms two different books? I know when regraded and sending in the old label they take the old label out of the census? Is it possible that those labels and certs taken out of the census, do they then get reused? Like cgc labeled a new book using a retired cert?
