  1. Lol I know sometimes I be crazy, but when trying to prove I'm not, LOOK OUT
  2. Only in that thread correct? And it has the saved reply that I tried to make saved? I eventually got it posted by retyping on my tablet, so no need to delete the post. It's appreciated. I should have been more specific that I can no longer post in that thread because of the 'saved reply" that I attribute to the copy and paste boards messup That and the saved reply is unsuitable. With no submit button. Otherwise I'd submit it too, then delete and hide it. I tried refreshing but it has not clear editor upon refresh, that it normally has, idk
  3. Idk that it would help. I can't clear the reply portion on my end on my phone. When I go to reply it has all that junk that was mistakenly copy and pasted. The submit button is not there in the screenshot, so I can't submit it then delete it. Here is a screenshot of when I refresh this page of this post in this thread on the phone: It gives me the choice for a "clear editor on it" that would erase this post, which I can't do in that thread... It has saved all that screenshots of copy and paste as a "reply" so that I can't post with my phone in the tell me a tale thread..
  4. I guess in short... I guess When I go to to this thread? On my phone, when I want to reply, it has saved text that cannot be deleted nor cleared no matter how much I refresh or click within to use the manual delete button. Those screenshots just happen to be what is in the post that won't delete. Somehow I copied text and instead it copied and pasted all that extra stuff that is hard to get a clear screenshot of, as it takes up so much room, and I'm on a phone with a small screen. Anyway cheers.
  5. Here is the post that won't delete in the "tell me your story thread" In comics general created by @Hudson I typed out this long post, wanted to copy and paste other text in a spoiler. I copied only the text portion from another thread or pm, and when I pasted It pasted the info in the following pics, which includes, your profile for some odd reason, and clear down to the CGC logo that is found at the bottom of the page...where the "contact cgc info is." I didn't copy it, but it pasted and won't delete from the post and I can't submit it again to delete, as that part of the post has disappeared. It clearly takes up a page and is hard to screenshot. Especially since it is not able to be cleared by refreshing and using the clear editor that usually pops up to delete previously saved text. The screenshot on the phone takes up several pics and is hard to show you in this post where I have to use screenshots. When I had copied the original text the plan all along was to paste in a spoiler. Here is a screenshot to show you when I pasted in the spoiler that it includes all the extra stuff I mentioned. If you look at the beginning and last pic you can see it was copy and pasted in a spoiler, and now I'm telling you it won't delete, which made me retype on another device of what I intended in the first place.
  6. Lol I still had to edit that post in this thread I Really should just delete it all, as the board software caused my time to edit to lag. It was coherent, but I dont think I ever got to the point cohesively about only having a bike (similar to you) to discover my comics and collecting, especially for my Sicilloan and christian parents. Argh! And good grief. But no hate, we all have our own stories of where we come from and how this hobby fed our soul.
  7. Lol screenshots aren't as clear, but all that was copy and pasted in a spoiler, even looks like the regular page, but it got put in a post with no way to clear it before posting.. Sigh
  8. This just happened on a simple copy and paste in response to the story thread, as my story was similar to @bc and cmon, it got me looking crazy. If I wasn't at home and through with dinner it would have been posted even crazier, and now I can not post in that thread on my phone @CGC Mike because there is no clear editor, and it doesn't have a post button either. I can't even post it to then delete it. Very unfortunate for anyone trying to make sense 😕
  9. @bc it was a boards malfunction, it's posted now. I typed out the whole thing and tried to copy and paste the last part @CGC Mike and it had copy and pasted your profile along with the cgc contact us info at the bottom of the page. I had it in spoiler as planned on the phone and would have posted and edited but it didn't have the post button. On top of that when I refreshed it left it there so couldn't retype, and it didn't have the clear editor button. So I had to post half and use edit then, given the reaction @CGC Mike this is making me look crazy in posting, which is unfortunate to the time here
  10. @bc again you are so close to my stories that I'll add a part 2! Part 1 was depressing enough My red headed mom had married a Sicilian who is my step dad that worked as a mechanic for fifty years to the day to put me through school and etc. Happy, content, and quiet personality. My biological dad was a new Christian and just very close to the vest. Prayed about everything I did before allowing me yay or nay to do things. Hence my comics weren't always approved. I remember superboy knockout issue and superboy king shark (which I picked up recently that reminded me of this recently in the dollar bins) was on the stands at the same time. Well I was of age at this point and evidently knockout the female on the cover made my dad think twice, so a prayer was prayed. You know I don't even mind the Lord Jesus to this day, I know to some they just want to do the best they can! Everyone has to work out their own salvation and I can't tell someone they're "doing it wrong" it's the do.or.do not, but try! I also have reminiscing feelings of newsstands, as it wasn't manly enough to be driven to stores by parents as kids, ie to a LCS. But baseball over printed cards? Again no hate, just life as it happens. Point being dollar bins is where I could ride a bike and try to work out my own thoughts. Having come to the boards, I've tried to be as personable as I'd want to be treated, and like mindedness makes that easy here.
  11. I hope you do, as the polybags when sealed leave a faint impression that brings down the grade a lot. From experience I sent in my uf4 and it came back 9.0. Then Bagley was offered several years ago, I sent in for signing with a press @ShaggyB, and it came back 9.8. So from experience I suggest it.
  12. My Bagley is still sfg... but was signed and sketched Aug 29th... which I guess explains something. I had it pressed but it got to CGC sfg a week ago Friday and no movement since, which I'm surprised is all. I ask this because uf4 came originally in a polybag, which causes a crease that can be unseen, but a press usually fixes it. In short always press uf4. I thought you said it had been pressed which is the real head scratcher.
  13. And its shipped today.... though not sure if it left or just got package. Tracking number hasnt updated with delivery date or details yet. Looks like my ultimate fallout #4 fresh from the bag was given a 9.2 grade. Wonder what notes i will get Comic Description: Ultimate Fallout 4 10/11 Marvel Comics Category: Signature Grade: 9.2 WHITE Comments: SIGNED & SKETCH BY MARK BAGLEY ON 8/29/23 &SIGNED BY BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS ON 8/15/23 Did you have it pressed?
  14. Mine is similar, but it was music and the green weed.... and it was a Baptist School. To which I confessed without waiting to be properly proven, because I was as my mom put it "too honest about it." That really went south and a past that is forever ago, thank God. I too got a subscription as a kid, and one of the 1st comics I got was this one... from wolverine. which wasn't traumatizing, but it felt weird or I felt guilty as it was my 1st, and had to do with the cartel. LOL after reading I ran and showed it to the parents asking if it was the white powder drug on his nose? or gun powder? and if that was where Wolvie got his healing factor from? sad but true I was only 11, which still sounds maybe old enough. But later the hijinks at school wasn't a good sign. eek then wrapped up with losing the Adamantium issue, and then Logan became seen for a brawler, funny enough I never got into fights though. We had lived in a poor neighborhood to afford private school, so I finished out the year at my first public school while having my first proper girlfriends. I had always been allowed to ride a bike, and I lived near your headshops and etc. So I was aware, but got too big for my britches to think I "could handle it." This doesn't seem that uplifting or haha, but is a story nonetheless. I got sober in 2001, except one or 2 beers in the 22 years past that, but glad to have learned a life lesson enough to get sober on my own at age 20. It means a lot to my personal testimony, that in that following 22 years it STILL took that time to get over childhood. All my friends from childhood are either buried or disconnected from me, which I count towards favor with a higher power. In the end, it was fun at the time, but healing takes place when you can realize your mistakes.
  15. ya that chart was from site I'm unfamiliar with called CBSI. Idk it, most of my "knowledge" comes from here, and what you stated was what I remember, but again, I think the online and sales get confused. Everyone remembers 2nd print newsstand, and while I agree more have been found, it is the one people latched onto but I'm glad to have been corrected
  16. It's appreciated 👍 It's only a vg or reader copy, comparable sales aren't much in low grade, but I got it for $5 on whim. It's up for grabs if it ever picks up in price I went to a toy show and saw it, it was still there when I went back the next month, and for $5 lol. In short Idk what it is worth, but for a momento I'll take it.
