  1. Lol I think of all the pawn star signature examples that have been "authenticated on their show!" They've done Disney before! Lol would be nice even though scripted to be on TV and live with some kind of payment for being on, too, I'm sure. Maybe cause I've binged it on Netflix recently haha. Short of it, I dthink suggestions here are good or are what I'd do, but I'm short of the ability and or opportunity...
  2. This is what you get when clicking on any of the listings (same pics) $2000 or over
  3. After this particular listing sold for $40,000 and etc several times with the same pic in the listing, here is yet another one. At this point it is just looking like the world may never know, the vale, or anytime soon.? as all the same pic listings and never shipping is why it's so low, probably? 1st pic I posted a page back in this thread, the new one is the single same pic listing...
  4. I don't usually press at all, except a few main keys, but I have one that I'm waiting on a signing to minimize costs but it looks pressable. I've not had grade bumps with CCS and yet it would be the option I'll probably choose if the signing is ever available. Thanks for the feedback!
  5. I assume a press was involved? If so I ask because of minimal results myself, but would try again
  6. Me too, there just hasn't been one in this case, hence my question. I think a video of the signing with Art would have been a good post... I'm posting to say that I too haven't seen any signing posts, other than announcements of new people. Mark Bagley deadline was July 21st, which mine hasn't moved yet, wondering if by the end of August?
  7. and while I'm at it, and because it is a "useful tool", cgccomics.com home page can take you to the census, which will show approximately how many slabs of each particular issue there are
  8. That is a lot to get done in 20 seconds, I don't see it as possible with their YouTube vids explaining the process . I know similar books get subbed a lot, so they might know in advance what to look for, although with moderns that keep getting subbed and are new? The list of manufacturing errors and other tallies that must be memorized... Nope 20 seconds isn't going to do it.
  9. I started the registry in 2015, by 2016 joined the boards. I didn't start entering books for the registry until 2019, by then I had 200+ slabs. I got them all done and considered it worth it within a month. Idk depending on purpose and etc, just do what counts. Especially of you then have a place to view and reflect, it can be rewarding compared to bin diving your own collection. At least do a paper list, and if you can remember date, place, and cost, but up to you.
  10. Lol I thought about the mail gif, but just isn't funny, that quick for it to never end!
  11. Thanks it is appreciated, I know mag slabs are hard to get a full pic of My first impression is no one tried to pull a fast one, but that said, there have been reports of plastic shrapnel when encased, which "I'd assume" happened here. Since your not the submitter to cgc they won't reholder for free, but it would have needed to be done by the original submitter within a time frame when received back from CGC Looks to me: big slab, little shrapnel, seller probably didn't notice, but that doesn't really excuse the seller to not make it right. That said, if you don't necessarily see any chips on the case? Then probably happened at encapsulation, which shouldn't but does happen
  12. He also doesn't state which slab generation it is, without the label pic we don't know either, and those slabs opened on the sides and is normal. I believe even with magazines, so totally possible that nothing is a fray with the "seller" I suppose not noticing...
  13. I was curious as that's too many books per minute, if some of that was backlog from already graded and that finally ran through the mill of encapsulating Regardless, I can see how that might affect qc, that's a lot!
