Ok so renfield prescreen... First off they gave out vampire teeth which is a fun spirit of things, but then? The pic of the screen? It's got the sound of water dripping in a full tub, and the movie doesn't start for another 15 minutes..... Wait a hear bats, but it is all on repeat and just a little torture 😂

Idk why but I tried to make the "main gallery" look the best, and I think maybe that and not having a lot of "complete sets" is why I haven't won. I have top ranking sets at #1 and #2 but not near enough complete? Idk @wytshus I don't call it a wasted effort, as I enjoy it, helps me know what I have as a whole rather than individual sets. Plus there is a "slideshow" that will signal through your gallery for you and "turn the page" so to speak, I don't believe that gets talked about near enough

Actually @wytshus if I got them reholdered with the Newsstand notation, would I be able to leave the cert number in the slot their in now? Idk if the newsstands are in the pedigree field, could I leave them in the regular slots for the books? Or would I need to request "Newsstand slots" specifically and need to re add them with description etc?

I understand but a question... ME submissions are currently free due to mislabels, which I assume means misnotated newsstand slabs? I have about 8 that I was curious about, but on the other hand, they're already included in the registry, so if I were to get them "reholdered" I'd need new registry slots? If that is right, then I'm not sure I'll go through the trouble registry deadline is soon and no guarantee etc

Ya I remember too. It was right after he had signed and cgc mine, or the next con season after I did one But I don't even remember his beef, but I'm glad he got over it, I guess. I'm really glad you posted, as I had forgot haha, he was ticked and did the same genuine videos as seen here but the other way. I don't know what brought him back, but at least everyone seems content now...

This is the last I had heard of liefeld, which was back in 2019? Is that correct @Iceman399 your post says March 2nd but I don't believe that was this year. OK 🆗 benefit of the doubt given, I hope he knocks it out of the park and people send him blanks to do! He seems genuine. Even back in 2019 whatever the issue was, I'm glad it rectified

I'm not paying for liefeld, although I do have already a sig from him. Jim Lee I didn't think was all that bad, I got one with a cgc signing, it was expensive like $500.for just the remarque. but they were pretty nice looking. Idk, I don't see a lot of sketches by artists ell all the time anyway I consider them more keepsakes than sigs, but same vein and I get why people don't like sigs. I've just seen it all as harder to sell, so I think this secondary market of flipping seems a bit fictitious but don't really know Neal adams did one, his was $220 for a remarque. Sketch was $500. I went with remarque. But I'm glad I did. Pick and choose I guess.

I just have trouble believing that non moderns were ever in a threat to have more signed than unsigned. Not that it couldn't happen, I'm just not aware. And that is the issue everyone is standing behind? Unless you mean "key moderns" Which I've seen more signed than unsigned. Basically there is no argument, it's personal preference as stated here, and while some of that "sounds like an argument", it is not. It's again just personal preference for whatever reason stated 😂

While I technically agree with your sentiment, it's worth noting that even hulk 181 is only a tenth signed and documented with cgc copies at least. Idk doesn't seem all that bad, I even remember @valiantman looking after Stan died, and that hulk was in the hundreds, so I can onky imaging whom is signing them now, maybe Roy thomas? Still 12000 blue labels is nothing to sneeze at

I have B&B #33 newsstand cgc 8.0 I didn't press, but really don't know the market for it either
