  1. Yea, that's what I meant - thanks! I did hear a few good things about it but didn't know about any option. Thanks for the info. I actually own the Ice Cream Man 24 and HaHa 6 connecting covers, and yet, it's the only moderns that I have with similarity for that kind of optioned stuff. I'm not sure the need to sell, but have only heard the going prices over the years. I mention because I got them in a Holiday raffle from a good friend. So Sentimental! There are just so many variants to those books, it is hard to believe they can retain the value, no matter how good? I guess that is why I'm contemplating selling eventually Looking now, HaHa #6 is the pricier. It used to be the Ice Cream man, I assumed I'd sell both at the same time since they are connecting covers, but idk. I guess I'm asking if there is hope? Or if this has turned to hording? keep for keepsake? I don't need to think that I have it all together, and must work at something to sharpen skills. I know the stories are good, I'm just not sure about "variants?"
  2. The texture of the scales looks real nice with the lighting! I'm sure it was a lot of work, but even with the sideshow magnets, I'll agree they do a good job of making it look seamless and sturdy Congrats on the pickup, I was looking in January, and everything was way super expensive. Eek
  3. Hey that is some deep black ink! Man oh man! That stands out super cool, a bit shaky penmanship with the punctuation, but I like that it doesn't block the art and is very deep ink!
  4. Glad to see the Todd Notes, as the artist you deserve the kudos. I'd pay more for it, idk how much more, but that would be neat for someone
  5. @onlyweaknesskryptonite may the Lord comfort you in Jesus name. That is a trying situation for sure, and yet knowing that you were faithful as you could be, may you also be granted mercy and comfort. I'm somewhat in that situation myself, but with my entire family. Very overwhelming. I've been reading the bible as has the rest of the family, and holding on to who is Faithful and True, it says a caretaker is the hardest job.
  6. scooby doo is fun SO meek and discreet.
  7. Man that is sweet. Grover was my superman. Snuffoluffagous was the elephant of my dreams, and the grouch tied it all together with a bow
  8. It would be more than welcomed, in confidence to post there, but yes the slabbed grade would net the most profit.
  9. That new avengers 11 is really a striking cover with the colors. Sincerly with having found it, a kudos! was it in the wild?
  10. I haven't posted pics as of late, and for the same reason, gently trying to straighten it up and out!
  11. I too have a #4 35 cent, it's the lowest graded copy. 9.2 however definitely sounds the top winner, seemingly the others are thereabouts, I'd be tempted to hold them. And yet there are times to sell, if'n you feel others are more your interests. A kind of go with your gut type thing.
  12. Indeed. It could be like after Ross? Was that a thing? I know there are sketches now that are after a certain style attributed to a artist. Still, there I'm sure are various reasons withing a work environment, and yet, I'd compare it to your knowledge Awaiting to see the answers
  13. It's just nice to see a thread occupy time and space so quickly and readily. Good times. The gist is overwhelming as well.
  14. Sweet! My main issue is space! It's almost like it's a final frontier or something
  15. Awesome! Welcome to the casienda and keep at it, you'll widdle what you'd like to find here. Asking questions is key
  16. Careful with the comp slab, and yet that's a lot of good stuff! Congrats!
  17. Oh! That's why, pretty cheap if that's the case. If I'm honest I'm happy there is interest, and yet, promising? Unknown.
  18. I'm loving the Shazam Covers! If it were Alex Ross I'd suggest sending for the signing, possibly, and yet you'd need be determined.
