  1. Is it just me or does hammer head look like flat top from Richard Tracy? Any correlation other than gangsters?
  2. man I was in a rush last night, I tried to edit to clarify, but I guess it got the point across Sorry for the babble, and thanks for the encouragement!
  3. hey don't play! I love @Namtak he is a cheerful genuine dude, but we all have slow days, amirite!
  4. In the same vein, I would enjoy some examples of what the points would then look like? Cause that sounds as though it would be detrimental to moderns? Already an 8.5 for most moderns are like 5. points, only doing 9.0 and above, means even MORE 1 point grades I mean how does that encourage someone to complete a set? I've got newsstands and or regulars, that if I got rid of all my 1 point or even 10 point and lower? My average would be like 175 points per book, and I'd only lose about 100 points. But I collect them and there are registry slots, and how is this "encouraging?" I'm confused by the flat rate to 9.0 and above or lower, and why the apparent afront to moderns or casual collecting. I'll give you it is more casual, and the registry is supposed to be "elite" or something, but that doesn't "encourage" or point to inclusive when all the points go down? It may encourage more people with pics and etc, but it won't be an "incentive" to do so, it'll be just added work involved to be considered. I do all of the above because I'm able while watching tv or inbetween projects that work themselves for a while before it requires me again. The point? I don't think this will incentivise, or not in an "obvious" way, and what it a "freeze" is that before points change again or "goalposts?"
  5. Oh i have no doubt what I have might sell, no worries, yet I haven't sold And I was just curious if I'd still find more newsies or even randoms, and it doesn't have to be cheap, which is preferred At least keep it reasonable. I can speak for my usual places, and it's been dried up mostly since spring for really keys of note. I assume the newsstand to be the same function in the equation, then it depends on who gets stock from where. More cathartic to read it typed out, so I'm glad I asked. I just needed info on where to focus, which can be regional, or whether to continue hitting: dvd stores, game shops, half price books (all may have a new rep on how they handle such) or look more online. It sounds like it may in my area have not changed, but be less available for whatever reason and if found still should be bought. I'm like you it's what I buy and look for with my cheaper funds. I just haven't sold as much. I'd love to trade to the LCS, but as I said, their not wanting to deal with it.
  6. I don't want to tie up the thread. I think it's all the same, but prices are dropping. Either there are less for sale online, or the bins have already been picked through in person. Patience. I just thank you for the feedback, that it is there, just patience !
  7. That's the way it was for me, I was trying to analyze if it still is By word of mouth, since stores discuss among themselves etc . If I mention a book is a newsstand to sell them, they don't want to deal, but usually don't sell at a premium, and that is probably why. I've just felt less compelled to buy every newsstand, and idk if that is because the nuance has changed, or I'm just not hearing of as many books to search for. Come to think of it, I ignored hype and spec so long that when I was priced out of most older books, nothing gold silver couldn't really ever afford them, but with moderns there is now so much coming down money wise that nows the time to search if not dried up! I'm only now realizing what's been spoken of I guess better late than never? Looooooooong run on sentence but I'm in a hurry
  8. Frame of mind for reference, I like it, I've got some responses from the lcs of they just don't want to mess with it, to idk if it matters with this book I'll mention it regardless. Other words it doesn't always affect price, but it is worth noting for them. Less so, of when you're selling to them, more though when buying. But I feel it is somewhat Undecided for most.
  9. To that point, and I understand if they're now considered trade secrets, but Are yall still finding these more online, rather than the wild? I remember even as last year, some where saying "honey holes" were drying up. I guess I don't need specific examples of "where" but that would be cool, but more is there still hope for someone who hasn't got a lot? Just that it's possible? I assume we post the pics to the boards to show that, but is it more online now?
  10. Awesome! And thanks for continuing the subject, because I felt I had dropped the ball. I'm still learning, it's appreciated
  11. There are bumps in the night and a bunch of who dunnit vibe, but the Cello Solo is spoiler
  12. I have already seen the 1st episode last month at a prescreen, it is very well done, but it didn't bite my nostalgia. Still it was good, I'll definitely continue watching, but I forgot to see if this thread existed to review
  13. Well it is bad, but I'm glad you held your tongue if it suits you, because you did I did, but that is.
  14. And yeah, don't give it away. Maybe email them and ask if you can place a deposit on it? Or if they'll just hold it at that price for X number of days? Can't hurt. I'll wait to see if it sells, who knows, it may be available in a couple of weeks when I have the $$.
  15. yes very reputable, I don't want to give it away, then someone go get it, and then who I mean to give it, it already be sold I'm maxed out at the moment, but couldn't hoit coitanly !
  16. I found a site that has some "deals" but am so broke, idk if I should pass them on? ASM #12 CGC 3.0 and $369 shipped, idk, I don't know many people in the states to tag I'd have bought it but kind of broke. One sold today from a different seller for $450, then tax from wherever on eBay
  17. I was having too much trouble typing, but meant to mention that too! Lol Idk if it was the rings or the sketch that made me think someone should have drawn a bubble gum, bubble, that popped! Maybe too much out of the box thinking, but would have made me chuckle
  18. I agree the sentimentakes you think, but is quite typical.of.his paid remarques, it stands out when there is no other art to back it up. No other art for him to "interact with", as is often his trade? Or so I thought 🤔
  19. Thanks! Peace for the Holidays then AND thanks for letting us know
  20. Indeed! And your green kind of shows all blue from other angles, so does my xforce I remember being with friends who were able to get comics easier than I coming home with fatal attractions. They lived near the grocery store, while I was near a gas station. Different strokes on being young and riding bicycles 😂 I still have my childhood copies, one of the few sets I never parted with, but none are in great condition nor are they distorted. Readers !
