Comiclink, Comic Connect, Heritage, etcetera... Wins...
ADAMANTIUM replied to Buzzetta's topic in Comics General
I remember this being at some used bookstore as a kid and begging for it to my parents 😂 They had this or #1 from the limited series, but I wanted the whole story! I think they did buy it, but a relative visiting took it later. I really don't see it often at all! Nice Acquisition! -

Lol nice! Haha -
Still no submission update for my McFarlane...... Yet the slab I sent in is still in the census? So silver lining? Must be a long way to the top if I want to rock and roll.

Bronze Age Fantastic Four Appreciation Thread

That's a real good scan too. -
This is how to avoid them. It's a hassle but if it prevents a tape pull on a book you care about it's worth it. I find folding the tape over isn't reliable as it can flick out at the crucial moment when you're sliding the comic back into the bag. I've just folded the tape upon itself, sticky to sticky or sticky to flap where all the sticky is used, when taking the book out to inspect. Then I remove the rest when applying new tape. IDK what it is with us about that impatience to get it open, but I assume it's happened to all of us. Idk cgc routine either, so I usually leave the tape completely off and fold back when stacking the books to send them as well

One of the few runs, well it and maybe Joe and transformers, that I've never learned to tell the difference. I "trust" cgc slabs 😂

oh definitely! My pics have too much light still, some of the notes are unreadable, but I did notice with your better pics this time that the Crow #3 is 2nd print I like the shazam too! but to get somewhat that full crow run is fun! I too need to send some in to CGC, but my McFarlane being the last to check in and still having more economy slow twisted in the wind? is just soul sucking forgive my Debbie Downer

Is call about that

it's still a "no go" for me I'm not sure why it hasn't checked in yet

What's new in your Silver Age collection this week

Amen. That's what I was trying to have explained but I couldn't eloquently, so I tagged you 😂 When I said "cgc knows", I meant somewhere they have the info, but I didn't know how or why it was never sorted publicly. One can hope. But some do have a lot of ss on one book, convolutes things.

Bit of edit for clarity

It's appreciated, it was covered well. I wanted to know if the first several issues were to be continued, or if they were whole stories picking up where with they left off previously That said. It all stemmed from the hulk #102 I bought that notes origin retold, and that is what made me ask. Subsequent ongoing issues would imply it's all the same origin to me, while to be continued means they were mucking about with the story line haha. It's so much simpler than all that, just phrasing haha 😂 and I don't want to monkey with the thread. I think I have my answer, that a notation of origin retold is still the same old origin but retold in issue #102. But was generally curious so I asked an elaborate question

I hope they arrived safe and sound whenever an inspection is made Still YAY they're finally back
