  1. Ya bare that in mind, plus the fact that we wouldn't know of these if not for customers being jilted to begin with, which also goes back to black flag. Hopefully that soured cgc and or Blackstone to become more familiar with policies. Think if it had gone on for years and or forced adoption, it could be so much worse
  2. The way I'm going today, you need a bottom panel that says "then comes an @ADAMANTIUM post and my head exploded
  3. Auto correct almost had me, new tablet
  4. Wasn't on purpose to affect the secondary market, cgc had nothing to gain then If you're truly following the money? Lapse in policies at best in short
  5. I understand your view, but cgc shouldn't have a say in the secondary market I don't think this implicates them that way, as it wasn't done on purpose for the market. Grading fees and that's it?. That's the whole point that makes their value now, destroy that misstep to reputation or disable the reputation period and down come value. I am almost positive this wasn't done on purpose, therefore the backtrack had to to be postulated for sure, and hiring someone might help, true! Yet I don't think cgc has anything to gain in the first place other than grading fees, therefore this misstep and value on the secondary market means that "buy the book not the grade" to be touted more imo That may devalue safely without ruining a company rep, especially one that doesn't have a lot to gain?
  6. Hope they make it home safe! Glad you had the time! Thanks for the report
  7. What I said was tounge in cheek, but rings true for those few now that it has switched to green label. I went on to explain more my personal view on that page of posts. But I don't think that cgc was particularly paid more than any recent submission fee, so it's not less than what has been spouted, a weak moment in grading policies that too. Still cgc revealed that that them, black flag and Crain had set it up before hand if something was possible. Black flag chose not to disclose that deal and they sold for $1,500? No cgc and Crain are offering a free signing to the now qualified label for a signature series as well Black flag who may or may not be refunded cgc fees due to policy correction is now mysteriously silent laughing all the way to the bank.
  8. Lol is this now the transition to buy the slab not the book? (The slab being a rare limited edition misprint itself?)
  9. Again which was purchased from black flag? Possibly they're having grading fees refunded? Hence the silence on their part?
  10. Was some of this something to do with Nintendo? I saw a link but scrolled past, I was interested though
  11. I agree and I put some of the blame on black flag the "publisher" cause they're the ones to "manufacture" it? All parties apparently agreed on it to begin with, but we wouldn't even know that if not for a cgc response. Both cgc and Crain are trying to do the remainder as a free in house signing? That's my understanding while back flag was posted in pics hiding being trolled on social at comic con? You'd think they'd want to get on some kind of fast track #releaseeconomytier
  12. Been there on so many, I almost fooled myself that my hobby to me was about bargain hunting But then I've paid through the nose a few times too, so it evens out! The thrill of the hunt IS a wild ride
  13. Good to know! Is there any liability on the original cert cost or anything? Presumably that's only going to hack off one particular customer?
  14. Smoker too but the wedge is where it's at, a "clockwork" was more referenced to the movie of the name because 4 hours is a little long. I've done it for comic sales though so it's not unheard of, yet have to have the time and interest!
  15. I think this was the focus a long time ago, as long as cgc would make it green label? Seems like a far away dream now, I kind of concur.
