Underworld #6, DS Publishing, 1949. This one is lower grade with the cover still attached, but precariously. Plenty of wear, spine split at the top about 2”, some interior damage. Seems like a 2.0 to me, but I would lean lower instead of higher on this. Only a single blue label on the census. $45 *NOW $39**

Underworld #1, DS Publishing,1948. Cover is really nice with the wear confined to the spine, and the back. Date in pencil in the "N" in Underworld, tearing at the staples, but still attached, staining back cover, interior showing some age around the edges. I think it's a 4.0, and presents nicer. Only 14 blue labels on the census. $195 **NOW $180**

Spy Thrillers complete four issue series from 1954/1955, Atlas Comics. These seem to be tougher to find books. All show significant aging, but are complete and (aside from #1) attached. #1 has a completely split and detached cover. Some spine splitting on #2, but just a couple inches at the top. #3 and #4 are both better in the 4.0-5.0 range. Aging is the issue on those last two, with the structure being very nice. $210 **NOW $180**

The Spirit #4, Fiction House, 1953. This book is just beautiful. Great bondage cover, with spectacular colors and gloss. Flat, tight, complete with a great spine. TINY bit of edge wear (see above "A.N.C.", bottom right corner, and right below The Spirit's hind end), spectacular pages. 14 on the census, with four at 8.0 to top it. Feels like this has a great shot to be in that range, or possibly even half a step better. One of the 8.0s sold June of '21 for $1,320. $515 **NOW $490**

Saddle Justice #8, EC, 1949. Plenty of general wear including creasing, spine wear, discolored staples (don't see moisture exposure evidence otherwise), chipping. Still complete and attached. I think it's a 3.0. $115 **NOW $100**

Rugged Action complete four issue series from 1954/1955, Atlas Comics. Awesome run of a more obscure Atlas title. This complete run features art by Maneely, Burgos, Sinnot, Heck and Harry Anderson. Paper aging on all with #1 and #4 having the worst of it. #1 has a completely split and detached cover with chipping and tanning, but complete interior. #2 is pretty solid with some chipping on the back. #3 is the nicest of this run at maybe 5.5 range. #4 has more tanning or it would be as nice as #3…maybe 4.5 range. $210 **NOW $180**

Public Enemies #3, DS Publishing, 1948. Another solid and complete book, Some minor spine wear including a tiny split below the bottom staple, small ink mark under 10c and a pencil check mark on front cover, nice pages, but some minor tanning to edges of interior covers, back cover staple tears but still attached. Seems at least 4.0 to me, and maybe better. $95 **NOW $88**

Mysterious Stories #4, Premier Magazines, 1955. Really nice copy. Spine wear, but minimal wear to the body of the cover. Deep colors and good gloss. Pages are very nice, but there is some aging to the edges of the covers including a dust shadow on back. Grease pencil "X" in the CCA box. Complete and attached. Only four blue labels on the census. I think this one is 4.5...maybe nicer. $115 **SOLD to @N e r V**

Modern Love #1 (1949, EC). Feldstein cover. Plenty of general wear, especially surface wear to front. 0.5-0.75" spine split at the top, creasing, small piece missing right edge front, stain back cover, maybe some foxing inside (see splash pic for what I am referencing), names written in ink in several places in the second story. Complete and attached. Seems better than 2.0 to me, but not by much. Let's go with 2.5 (though I wanted to say 3.0). Happy to provide more/different pics upon request. Only 14 blue label on the census. $400 **NOW $380**

Jungle Comics #30, 1942, Fiction House. This is a solid copy of a very difficult book to find. The limiting factor on the grade will be the piece missing from the top right corner of the front cover. Leaving that aside, the spine is tight and well attached, with just a bit of roll. There is good color, with a small amount of paper aging, but it remains supple and very readable. I think it’s a 5.0-5.5 book WITHOUT the missing piece. Technical grade suffers greatly from the missing piece. Let's go with 5.5Q or 2.0 or less on a blue label. This book presents much higher. $175 **NOW $155**

Jungle Comics #15, 1941, Fiction House. This is an amazing book that is complete, but lower grade. Cover has some minor splitting and is detached. There is a small hole in the front cover in her skirt that also impacts the first page. There is also a small hole in the back cover in the green box that impacts the last three pages. The interior is complete and attached, but the centerfold is pulled through at the bottom staple only. There is a margin tear in the back (page 57/58) that barely extends into the art with no paper missing. Presents nicely, with supple pages and no major pieces missing. I think it’s a 2.5. $475 **SOLD to @Spyder!**

Humdinger Vol. 1 #4, 1946, Novelty Press. I bought this locally as a Fine, and I think that is about right. Front really pops with color on the interesting art. Back cover has some wear, and the top staple is pulling. Complete and attached. $45 **NOW $39**

Exciting War #6, Pines (Standard), 1952. Wild, flamethrower cover. Complete and attached. Piece of tape on the interior of the front cover repairing a small tear at the top edge (to the left of the word "BLAZING"). There is an impact to the cover in the flamethrower guy's fuel pack that goes through the cover (no paper loss, and presents nicely). Production crease on the cover that has a small tear at the right edge (just above the green cylinder). Decent spine, but bit of a miswrap. Some aging apparent around the cover edges, but pages are very nice. I think 3.5. 12 blue labels on the census. $430 **NOW $405**

Crime Smashers #10, 1952, Trojan Magazines. This is a solid copy that has plenty of general wear. The centerfold is detached, but well attached otherwise. There is some discoloration to the staples can be seen on the back. WILD interior contents. I think it’s a 3.0 on lots of general wear. $75 **NOW $65**

Crime Exposed #4, 1951, Marvel. Relatively tough to find book with only 3 copies on the CGC census. This is a solid copy with general wear. The front cover has pulled through the bottom staple, a couple creases, corner chip on the back, some stacking roll, but nice overall. I think it’s a 4.0, but maybe a 3.5. $45 **NOW $39**

Battle Cry #3, Stanmor Publications, 1952. Tough, atomic age war book with only three blue labels on the census. This one is solid and complete, and lays very flat. Nicely presenting copy. Some pulling of the cover at the bottom staple, but still attached. Minimal surface wear, a bit of edge wear to top back, and some aging around the perimeters of the covers. Pages are, again, very nice. I had this book at 4.0, but I think you could go a half step higher even. $70 **SOLD to @IngelsFan**

Battle Cry #2, Stanmor Publications, 1952. This is a tough book, with only three blue labels out there (no GPA info, and not much I can find out there on comps). This one is really nice, laying very flat, complete and attached. Great color and gloss, and really stellar pages. There is some aging to the edges of the covers, but minimal wear. Cyber Force #1 newsstand. Very high grade copy. There is a tiny dot of foreign substance dead center of the front. If removed, I think it has a shot at 9.8. I am the original owner of this book (not sure if I’m embarrassed or proud here). I’ll throw in a copy of #3 for free. $9 THREAD CLOSED...I will likely move to eBay. Happy to pull them down there, to make a deal here.
