  1. It'll be interesting to see how the market fairs with the TOD 10 9.9. Frankly I suspect that's a long-term bust.
  2. Oh, love Flash 31, fantastic cover. It's always a gamble with GA books. I feel like several of them, Planet Comics 1 included, went low. While others fetched much higher than I expected.
  3. Valid. I guess I wasn't thinking strictly high grade, though that's clearly what's been looked at. Mid-grade books tell a very different story granted.
  4. What's frustrating about this list is that virtually all of the high-movers, sans FF1, FF5, and X-Men 1, either held steady or decreased in value on the open market. Showcase 4 and 22 have dipped lately, and certainly Action Comics 242 and 252.
  5. At this point I think OSPG would be more valuable as yearly market check-in. I like seeing what major players in the industry are the next big thing, even if they're pushing their own agenda. The market is large, do we really need a relative price guide?
  6. Beats my experience. I just purchased a $3K book. Oofta. Somehow I'm not surprised that they neglected to send out an email on this prior to going into effect. 7. It took ~20 pages for someone to argue that much of L.B. Cole's work is overrated. I agree.
  8. I think it needs to be pointed out that in ~2007/2008 the market crashed, and with it the value of most collectibles. Comics included. It's not surprising that individuals have seen fairly fantastic gains over the past 10 years. The rebound, along with the introduction of DC and Marvel cinematic universes, have kicked things into high gear. Many issues, such as Hulk 1 and TOS 39, have likely already seen the majority of their growth. In fact, you could argue that they'll now likely start to dip a bit as The Hulk and Ironman fall out of the public eye a bit. Whatever you do, don't put all of your eggs in one basket, especially if you're planning on buying at a high point.
  9. If anyone has a 2.0 - 3.0 they're looking to sell/trade please let me know!
  10. Funny, I was about to say how it's (personally) one of the worst GA GL covers. It's just terrible artwork. Maybe so bad it's good?
  11. Ha, well I guess that's different. Is there an easy way to search sold items on CC? You can view a complete listing, but then it appears you need to dig through all of the records to find the items you're looking for.
  12. Random, but how did you search for completed listings? I feel like I haven't mastered navigating CC. What am I missing?
  13. It's a book that's been on everyone's radars for years, but has appreciated at a drastic rate over the past 5 or so. The 3.0 definitely seems like a deal in comparison to the 3.5, no doubt.
  14. I feel like this Tec 35 pops up a lot. Maybe I just see it on Instagram? http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FPREVIEW.ASP%3Fcode%3D2019aug%26pg%3D2%23Item_1322087&id=1322087&itemType=0
  15. Thank you for a great transaction! A+
