  1. Interesting topic; I’d love to know! But as an Oct 1985 book you’ll probably get more of the appropriate eyes (who are hopefully versed in that Flash era) in either bronze or copper. Could go either way; it’s just before Crisis.
  2. SOLD! Bumping this thread to add a book on behalf of a friend, Anthony, owner of an LCS in my region, Alterniverse. Book is in my possession, but buyer would pay him directly and I will return it to him to ship. Just posting for him, not a consignment. Two differences from my stated rules: he will also accept credit card or PayPal as well as check or money order, and his shipping is $30 shipped and insured within U.S. Star Wars Heir to the Empire #1 newsstand edition in cgc 9.6 white pages. 1st Thrawn and Mara Jade. $700
  3. Oooooh no…. You’re stuck like the rest of us!
  4. Any of you guys the buyer on this? Would love to have it if anyone knows if it’s owner is ready to move it to a new home.
  5. Miles turns into Kang in his future…wait n’ see!
  6. Track down Black Monday Murders from Image. A short eight-issue run from a few years ago.
  7. Stalk the sales threads here. Everything except the Foxhole 1 should come up within a year.
  8. The paste-up guy who placed the “in this issue” box for Wartime Romances #15 should be hunted down and stoned.
  9. I still have the expired trade credit slips. Amazing how often my picks were out of stock.
  10. Copper IS modern! (Sorry, but I realized we had not yet cheesed off every cohort of boardies, so I figured I’d throw that angle out there!)
  11. yep, this and Man Comics #1 Devil Dog Dugan #3 has this CDNP #46 vibe as well, but Biro obviously intended that cover. Dugan #3 is a Joe Sinnott cover with a creepy vibe that I strongly suspect was not intentional. I think sweet Joe just widely missed the mark.
  12. Thank you; the top staple is getting a little tenuous, but otherwise it's as it appears. Traded an assorted stack of Silver age to get it.
  13. Love this book! Congrats on putting it back in your collection. Here's mine:
  14. And the winnah… at $135…. @Norrin's lawyer! Thank you Greg, and thank you everyone who stopped in and/or participated!!
  15. Not for nothin’ but Kirby gave us super-strong steel-skinned mutants three years before Claremont and Cockrum gave us those newfangled X-Men… (Of course, he probably took it from that Man O’ Steel guy from Heroic Comics the Golden Age, but…)
  16. And we’re four hours to the wire with 2 new entrants and a new high bid…. @rjpb jumps in at $120 and @Norrin's lawyer pulls into the lead with $135!
