  1. Ok, I’ll leave it open until the a.m., with this reminder…also included in the sale are these 2 Creig Flessel dailies from the news paper strip “David Crane.” I originally offered them at $150 shipped each; take 20% off this price as well. (If you buy both, I would deduct another $20 as the shipping difference for two vs one is nil. I would box ship these.)
  2. Thank you! It’s a very cool and tough early Marvel; I’m just trying to keep my focus narrow, and it’s presence is a temptation for me to expand in that direction!
  3. Sorry; this is it. That’s my wheelhouse too; only letting these few go in fact because I already have too many incompletes to try to complete. (Not that there’s a lot of them, but a handful of incomplete golden age that one actively tries to finish off is more of a project than it might sound like!)
  4. Thank you; I tried to price it fairly, even before sale price, to give boardies a good deal. Comps are tough, but I went under what little was on eBay listings/sold when I first looked. Books like this need to move to good homes when they move. I feel like I’m passing along responsibility for stewardship of some hobby history when I left books like this go. Happy it’s going to a great home!
  5. Lord knows, I threadkrapped enough, I oughtta buy something Showcase #61, Microbots #1, Nukla #1
  6. The Charlton silver heroes are pretty readable, plus you can’t go wrong because half the press run came off the machines at VG, so mid-grades are pretty sweet! As an aside, how the heck is it that DC has owned those characters for at least 40 years and no one has yet to turn the Madmen (from Blue Beetle):into the Joker’s henchmen??? And yes $2 DS is always always a no-brainer!
  7. Dr. Strange "Into Shamballa" (Marvel Graphic Novel) pages 4-5 and 24-25 (in the book, page 24 is covered with text on a scroll/parchment). Dan Green watercolors.
  8. Here's a pair from Fables #150, the final issue. Mark Buckingham inked by Dan Green.
  9. Happy Independence Day Everyone! This thread had run for a m9nth as of tomorrow; time to move on and get books to buyers. But before I close, let’s do 20% Off everything left! Yes, the Timelys too….yes, the Creig Flessel OA too….yes, the Batman #78 too….yes, the Popeye #1 too….yes, the Two-Gun Kid #61 I said I wasn’t gonna cut the price on…..yes, the Betty and Veronica ballet cover…yes, even the 1st appearance of Woodgod! 20% off anything left in this thread, now until closing. (Which is realistically tomorrow evening after work, I’m guessing.) Thanks all!
  10. That’s everything; thanks for everyone’s patience over the month. We’ll finally close up early this week and get PM’s out to takers. So take your takes, send any PM’s etc. Thanks everyone; hope it’s been fun!
