  1. Welcome, Jay! Find out at your own risk -- there no turning back! We're all doomed!
  2. Adventure, August 1961, sporting an awesome jungle girls cover. VG+. Contains fiction by Gardner Fox. $30
  3. Welcome, William! I kid you not, I fell down the rabbit hole of that thread I linked from the magazines forum, and I am trying to clamber out! Seriously, climb in...these things are awesome and IMO still under the radar, though other boardies know much better than I do, and I have seen some of the "keys" of the genre in the $100's range...still bargains for what they are!
  4. SOLD! Target for Men April 1962 comps are impossible for this one, but I'm going to apply common sense to the "I was a Lesbian for the FBI" issue...VG+ $30
  5. SOLD! Target for Men December 1961. How 'bout those bed-hopping frauleins who routed the U.S. Army?? VG due to lower spine split. There's a beater and a FN+ on eBay so let's price this between the two to the favorable side. $20
  6. SOLD! Man's True Danger May 1964. This issue exposes "Hitler's Hidden Daughter" and poses the question, "Are All Virgins Neurotic?" VG/FN $40
  7. First, a word about these men's adventure mags (some refer to them as "sweat mags"): if you aren't familiar with the term cognitive dissonance, look it up first. Some of these covers and headlines are so outlandish in this genre that they hijack the amygdala. Ask yourself what prices would be if these were pre-code comics. And they are in the lineage, I suspect, that runs from pulps such as Spicy Adventure Tales, to the most outrageous of the pre-code crime, romance and horror, to...well, frankly, these...These mags picked up the mantle for the lurid, suggestive, seedy eroticism of those earlier works. I'm reading and learning a lot in a hurry as I release these, but there's a great dedicated thread in the comic magazines forum: Let's enjoy!
  8. There's just four Warrens left -- Creepy #65, and Eerie #'s 42,55,59 -- and they are all 25% off! How's that for a recap? (Plus, there really IS a #1 from 1939 in this thread, at 10% off, if you care to dig...)
  9. Streamlined recap, an adult beverage, and men's adventure mags are coming up right now!
  10. x14 (I think!) Holee Carp! And thank you! S-man has claimed all but four of the remaining Warren books in this thread! I've got it! The "S" must stand for "stack" because Stackman made himself a stack o' Warren horror!
  11. Planning on adding these tonight; remaining Creepy and Eerie are now 25% off (over in G/S/B)
  12. RECAP Reminder, take 25% OFF all prices listed below! Barring absolute disaster, I will begin listing the men's adventure mags tonight! Usually I get the chance by about 10 PM EST, but I will start earlier if possible. Page 1: Creepy #72 FN $8 Creepy #69 FN $10 Creepy #66 VF $20 (decapitation cover) Page 2: Creepy #65 VG/FN $8 Creepy #64 VG $7 Creepy #61 FVF $10 Creepy #56 VF- $10 Page 3: Creepy #47 FN/FN+ $10 Page 4: Creepy #40 FN+ $8 Creepy #39 FN/FN+ $15 Page 5: Creepy #36 FN $20 Creepy #27 VG $10 Creepy #8 FN+/FVF $20 Page 6: Creepy #2 VG+/VGFN $25 Page 7: Eerie #59 VGFN $8 Eerie #55 FN/FN+ $6 Page 8: Eerie #42 FN+ $10
  13. I picked this up somewhere between when I first posted in this thread and since it was resurrected. I may have something more rare; hard to tell for sure, but its definitely a book that's widely regarded as difficult. I do know of at least one other boardie with a copy.
  14. Many will be read and release, but it was fun to find these together today
