SOLD! Amazing Spider-Man #316, first Venom cover. VF at a glance, but covers show that staining discoloration that comes from attic storage. Not sure what that knocks it down to; mid-grade range? $20

Thank you; people oughtta know what's what...if Wertham knew, there would be some zeroes added onto that price!
-
By God, you're right! It's a suggestive huffle cover! Somebody put that note in Overstreet!

SOLD! Amazing Spider-Man #300 in VG+. I was going to call this VG/FN, and it may still be in the 5's, but the lower right has that crinkly texture like somebody set a beverage on it once years ago. I tried to capture it in the last photo. Not an awful copy, but lower side of mid-grade thanks to that texture. $200

Okay, picking up where we left off now... The bad news is I don't have another Hulk 340 left after all, and my friend (see above) took the Killing Joke 1st print. The good news is that leaves one book mentioned above....

Jerry Lewis lot of 5; #40 (VG+) and 45 (VG-) bring the GGA covers; the beater #58 and VG/FN 110 and 118 ride along because they are here. $25 for the lot. FYI - #40 is the last Dean Martin issue.
-
Adventures of Bob Hope lot with GGA covers. #45 has a panel cut out; #47 & 48 are VG. $20 for the lot.
-
Nellie the Nurse #16 in 1.0. Beat but complete, pages-wise. Cover attached, by backside. You get Kurtzman's "Hey Look" and an anti-Wertham editorial to boot. $40

Okay gang, I will add a few odds and ends now; 25% off, buy this thread, etc still stands for everything prior to this post. New books next.

Doc Samson -- neurotic, unconfident, nerdy superhero is made for Hollywood Two-Gun Kid - Remake the western genre Marvel movie style Tigra! -- just duh! -
Probably read and release, as it was pricey for an impulse buy, but I couldn't leave a nice looking St John 100-pager just sitting there...

Thx! I will try, but he and I do a lot back and forth. We discussed the books, so I owe him a first crack. But if he clearly passes, I'll offer here. He and I only discussed the Spidey and batman, the other hulk i just have to find.
