  1. Ok gang that's it for tonight! I may or may not add more tomorrow; I have a friend on the fence on a VF 1st print Killing Joke and a maybe VG/FN raw ASM #300. Will try to get a straight answer and post if he passes. Also, I could swear I have another Hulk 340 around. So those are what might come. Thanks lookers and taker! Yes, PM's are always welcome too, and yes if you take the Star lot more books could fit in the package for the same shipping, so additional takes for the Star lot taker would negate additional postage. (I hope that made sense!)
  2. This one's priced shipped...10-book Star Comics lot, all heroes/adventure. Mostly mid-grade but note chew on Visionaries #2. Note also lot includes two copies of Silver Hawks #5. Features two low print run Thundercats from later in the run, #'s 19 and 21. Take the lot for (was $35) Now $25 shipped in U.S.
  3. Masters of the Universe #13. Going Fine minus due to that upper left corner of the back cover, otherwise Fine. (Was $25) Now $20
  4. SOLD! Amazing Spider-Man #299 presents nice but I'm going VG/FN. slight stack roll, color-breaking crease by Spidey's fist in the corner box, some grit on back cover, perhaps from a sticker? On the plus side, black costume, 2nd McFarlane, Venom. $20
  5. SOLD! Via PM Masters of the Universe #'s 11-13; grades vary. 11 would be Fine but for slight chew, cover only, lower right, so VG. 12 is Good at best with spine roll and lower right chew.13 fortunately is the best of three, a solid mid-grade Fine range book. $40 for the set.
  6. First in thread wins Payment: Money order or check; I do NOT have Paypal. Shipping: U.S. Priority $7 (unless lot is priced U.S. shipped). Canada will be actual less $7. Returns: Sure, notify me within three days of receipt and return shipping is on your dime. Dont be listy (Including the little one in my head) Ready? It's gonna be cheap, a bit rough, and over quickly...
  7. You're thinking of the AF15 Dr Seuss variant
  8. Buy This Thread Option! Okay, I count 41 books remaining unsold in this thread. At original ask, it would have been $866 to take each individually. With the 25% off sale, they total $649.50 It will probably run $15 or $20 to ship the pile anywhere in the U.S. Take all 41 remaining books (scroll through; includes a Cinderella Love #1, an incomplete Mopsy #1, etc.) for $600 shipped U.S.
  9. Awesome news! I'll cut the Blue Beetle OA to $175 (shipped in U.S. on me) to pour it on. Paris Cullins/Bruce Patterson. DC Copper Age series. See pix in original posting on page 3 of this thread.
  10. Open to any and all PM's that are not outright absurd....just got a call that dangled a Hulk #1 in front of me yesterday afternoon; seller motivated!
  11. Love it! Persistence wins for a deserving guy! Congrats!
  12. @Pat Calhoun Hurry! This calls for the Mask of Mumbo!!!!
  13. Low grade, but a cover I've always thought was striking. Couldn't leave it sitting in some antiques shop.
  14. Nice score! Even nicer cause supported! Gang, the thread is in GSB, but there's some great stuff available there, all proceeds going to Brittany's gofundme page
  15. Now I know how the Monkees must have felt with Jimi Hendrix opening for them, having to post right after Szavisca's score...but it was sitting in some antiques shop, all out of place, and it is a first edition, however ratty. I have always loved pix of this cover, and it's as striking as I expected in person, even in low grade.
  16. Congrats! What a Sweet score! At a show? LCS? When you finish the cigar you damn well better be having, please do regale us with any details you're willing to lavish upon us. Happy for you!
  17. If you want it, you should be able to bargain him down a bit and buy it. Don't worry about the grade you ultimately want but may never be able to afford; get in at a safe price that you can get back out of whole (if not a little better in the long run.) unless the LCS is in a major city, odds are he's only got a handful of regulars buying single books for hundreds. My
  18. Not to put too fine a point on it, but Valerie precedes Chuck Clayton and coach Clayton. She is the first black character in Archie Comics; this is their FF52/GL87. Not the easiest book to find, either. I have a couple or it would be gone. GLWTS!
