  1. The weather in San Diego is quite temperate.
  2. Didn't she first have Power Ring's ring in the storyline leading up to Forever Evil? Or am I mixed up? Just thinking her convoluted origin, if it's who I am thinking of, makes her tough to explain in a movie. I guess they can just wash over it all. Either way, it's a cheap spec, so why not? I do think a female GL in the movie is a must. I'm assuming Katma Tui too, but Cruz is a much cheaper play for certain.
  3. While I never had one, I always wanted that cardboard Marvel World play set advertised in bronze era Marvels. I have only ever seen one in person, and they are few and far between online. And when they appear, they are beat, incomplete and expensive. I also seem to remember, maybe in the 90's, a serie of 20" poseable articulated Marvel action figures. Cap was a classic silver/bronze look, and I always thought that would be a cool desk item. A cap action figure search now yields so much I cannot figure out how to narrow it and cannot bear to sift through!
  4. This reimagining would be both encyclopedic and entertaining. They could be released serially and would be both enjoyable and useful. Whether there's a big enough market to justify it I don't know.
  5. Would anyone be willing/able to tell me current GPA on a 3.0? Thx in advance!
  6. Let's go to $195 shipped! PM's still welcomed; also, is it the board's pleasure that these be offered individually, and/or in smaller lots??!!
  7. Okay, I've hit bottom....I have no more lots to list from these eras. Thanks to buyers and lookers, and remember PM's are encouraged; shipping will be combined if you take more than one lot, as each lot offered is priced with shipping included. So don't hesitate to reach out if you're fence-sitting and head-scratching over anything Thanks!
  8. Bongo Comics lot, with everybody in the VF/NM range....Includes Simpsons Comics #1, Simpsons Comics and Stories #1 (still bagged with poster), Itchy & Scratchy #1, Bartman #1 (poster intact), Bartman #2, and Radioactive Man #679 (trading card intact) $25 shipped
  9. My, what a refreshing thread .... I'm refreshing furiously before I'm asked to wash the Windows!
  10. Thank you, Ender! All -- PM's totally welcome on this one; I priced based on some fraction of Guide 2.0 to come up with the number, without counting the bronze as any more than $1 books; I forget my exact alchemy to try to come up with a fair price. But I'm open to offers as its not the easiest thing to figure a price for, given the rarity/scarcity of the AA3 and 50's DCs, and an FF48 in the mix.
  11. Okay, here's a recap of the price cuts: TMNT lot (Archie Adventure Series) -- was $65, now $55 Pitt lot -- was $15, now $12 Batman Knightfall era lot -- was $40, now $35 G.I. Joe (Marvel) lot -- was $20, now $15 Hammer Horror (Marvel UK magazine) lot -- was $55, now $45 X-Force #1 lot -- was $15, now $12 Maxx #1 lot -- was $12, now $10 Again, all lots are priced shipped U.S., so if you want more than one lot it will be somewhat less because of combined shipping. PM and we'll figure it out.
  12. I'm about to make some price cuts on the lots on the first two pages, starting from the beginning. I will edit each post, then come back here and recap the cuts. Thx!
  13. Lot bonus: I will also include three Coverless but incomplete golden age books: Master Comics #95 (missing first wrap or two?) Captain Marvel Adventures #13 (missing first wrap and centerfold) Women Outlaws #3 (incomplete, chipping but fun)
  14. Here's the pix, grouped by Gold, Silver and Bronze. Do not hesitate to ask questions, request individual pix, etc. With 31 books, it's tough to decide what to put up. While some books have tears or chipping edges, I will note that most of the books I assume are of greatest interest are solid Coverless copies: All-American 3, Batman 84, Tec 227, both Wonder Womans (actually, all those tough 50's DC's listed are solid) and the FF48. Most are solid as well; feel free to ask about a specific book(s).
