  1. And guess what Ken? They're brilliant! Jim'll like this - Jim! Come listen @porcupine48 Great post Ken!
  2. I think the presence of covers was a beautiful dream Redshade. From what I understand, T&P used remaindered copies to make these books up. They stripped them of their covers, returned the covers under the sale or return policy, and then cheekily repackaged the inners to make an extra buck. Quite a good idea really, if you overlook the legalities I've never seen one with a hard cover either. Vivid dreams you have Redshade. Vivid dreams.....
  3. In theory Redshade, yes. Some of the early 1960's Marvel titles are bordering on non existent and, in a handful of cases, I'm still trying to prove the existence of certain issues which should exist but have yet to surface (the 'missing list' in my Marvel thread). So the Bronze Age DC's would be a comparatively easy set to build. But it would still take time, as many books are scarce. Some of the less well known titles are hard to find in any grade, let alone high grade. So achievable, but by no means a doddle.
  4. Keep it Redshade, keep it! There's only another 838 more to collect and then you've got the set!
  5. Anyone with cool music taste like that can hijack my threads all day long You forgot Squeeze and Elvis though Aweandlorder (Costello that is, not that lesser known one)
  6. Is that 'Mean Limahl' Aweandlorder? Too shy de shy, hush hush, I'm gonna rip your throat out!
  7. Ice cream, discussing comics and porn. Every young boys dream
  8. Gold! Always believe in your sou-ul You've got the power to know You're indestructib-le Always be-lieve in, because you are Gold! Difficult song to dislike that one. As for Kajagoopoo, at school we always changed the last word on that one. Not many words escaped us actually - too shy de censored, too shy de censored, too shy de censored. You get the drift....
  9. It's so bad it becomes good and then out the end back to bad again. Which is pretty bad. But somehow good!
  10. It's a great site. I've found a few errors down the years, but what a fabulous reference point
