  1. Oh man sorry to hear that! I feel your pain (I don't open my figures so box condition is really important IMO).
  2. Love the rolling thunder! I have one myself that is almost complete (those damn antennas!). The box is icing on the cake. I love the boxes, hard finding them in good shape without people asking a boat load for them now-a-days.
  3. Crazy people? I bet they are the same people that don't go down the toy aisle when they have to run out for milk or something the kids need real quick either
  4. If it was just action figures and donuts (or candy bars) it would not have been so weird
  5. Not only is it a great movie but they timed the release perfectly. Fathers Day, 4th of July, etc. .... glad to see it performed so well.
  6. pretty wacky .... there is food in there with your action figures
  7. Depending upon Marvel movie we are comparing against I think it might make more cents
  8. Fathers day weekend and 4th of July not too far off ....... seems like they could do well still.
  9. I have been reminded of 2 things while reading this thread: 1) I HATE snipe bidders! 2) You are not supposed to print the internet
  10. I think you should make bumper stickers / t-shirts .... "Suck it up buttercup!".
  11. Lawsuit regarding Top Gun: Maverick https://finance.yahoo.com/news/paramount-sued-over-top-gun-151829949.html
  12. What has been done in the past with folks that don't follow through with the gift sending? I am guessing it can't be the first time?
  13. If the wait is longer than 25-30 minutes at Dennys I won't even bother waiting. There is not a snowballs chance I would wait that long for my books. On the other side of the coin, I would likely forget I owned them after that long and it would be like Christmas when they showed up. Maybe I'm on to something here
  14. What is your definition of a "genuine" increase of value? I would argue the situation you just describe does. The houses would not sell for a value greater than the last if there was not someone willing todo so. The demand dictates the price it is sold for regardless if you are making a profit or taking a loss. Sometimes folks need to cash out quickly (regardless of investment type) and sell for a loss or for a reduced profit just for a quick transaction. Love the conversation, just my thoughts. That said you should know that according to my wife, I am normally "wrong" though
  15. Sorry to hear that! You know how it goes everybody has different tastes. Can you believe my daughter doesn't like filet mignon?
