  2. Great question! Please if your out there and have pics of Wally Wood D O O M post post post. I saw pages many many years ago at the SD Con. IF I'm not mistaken they were from a complete story.
  3. A wonderful suggestion. So cool to see art that we all care about. So many great characters that need their own thread.
  4. Brilian! That Cockrum page is lights out. " Am I not beautiful Lord Doom? And terrible? Do you not fear me? You should. you shall." Wilson with a very nice assist from Marcos. This splash with Doom standing over the poor Silver Surfer would hang nicely on any OA collector's wall. You all have made this thread incredible. D O O M !!!!!
  5. Wow Mark this is super kick-A. Is this one yours? Great take on The Leader of Latveria. This is one D O O M you do not want to mess with. Thank you for posting this one. D O O M S D A Y !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Excellent observation. Doom is complex.Hatred is a major driver for his behavior. Then you look at the Mignola page submitted in this thread by Matches Malone. A tear shed by Doom. Like the subject box states D O O M is great!!!!!!
  7. A DOOM by Dell'otto. Wow!! This artist has such a power behind the work. I love these sketch covers. I don't own any but I imagine I will get a few maybe at SDCC this year. Nino thank you for a very desirable contribution to our D O O M thread!!!
  8. I dig this one with the colors.I think Doom brings out the best work of all artists.
  9. Excellent Doom Cover (recreation) Dave Cockrum style made an impact on me during my youth. His work continues to impress me. As you say nothing beats "original" pages. I will however give the late great artist a standing O for this keen Doom X-Men classic.
  10. Not so fast Book of Strange. I have to say this work by Jeff Lafferty is really well done. Very pleasing and clever the more you take it in. So glad you took the time to post this here. Thank you!
  11. John-- Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! One of the best D O O M covers ever. So happy you added it here to a thread dedicated to why we think DR D O O M is G R E A T !!!!!!!!
  12. Only Doom could call Subby " sea born scum " and get away with it. Man that's just a mighty fine page. Now DD 37 so glad to see a page out of that classic. No doubt one of the best silver age stories and art.Look at D O O M kicking poor DD while he's down. Can't thank you enough for contributing these two beauties.
  13. Thanks to J Sid we're feeling the B Y R N E !!!! That panel makes me woozy.

  15. Only Doom would make a demand of Mephisto on his Hellish Home Turf. This is a chilling dark beautiful page of art. I appreciate all your pics. I love seeing so many DOOM fans come to life here.
  16. Mephisto so cold blooded. You can smell the fire and brimstone flickering off the page. What a cool user name Mephisto. I'm not messing with you my friend!!
  17. I'm in total agreement with you Jade Giant, Great posts and a couple of art pages I've never laid eyes on. Keep it coming everybody.
  18. I love it zhamlau. You are right Doom looks like he's about to serve some rough judgement on some poor " Incompetent Dolt!!" Love the shadow on Doom's mask. Thanks so much for posting this.
  19. Yes! Awesome Shoveler. I love that video never saw it before. Love it! FF 116 with out question one of the best Doom FF yarns. Buscema and Sinnott are pure magic. I remember well the four panel page where Doom battles even when he has no more power-energy and only succumbs when drained to near death. The will of Doom goes beyond mortal understanding. Great post and so appreciate your thoughts and contributions Shoveler.
  20. Oh my! I'll start with Byrne. What a superb artist! His FF run alone would be enough to crown him as a comic art legend. Your page is typical dramatic Doom FF genius. Inspired art work. That Doom panel is so money. Triumph and torment: One of the best art/stories ever. your page is terrific. Mignola is so unique. I don't know what was going on during his creation of Triumph ( yes on DC board:-) but it's one one of the great Doom stories ever. One of the great stories ever. The art is master class. I so appreciate your contribution to this thread! I just new i wasn't the only Doom nut:-)
  21. He balances the marvel Universe doesn't he? I hope everyone takes a second to hit your CAF link to view a seriously well drawn Doom page by Paul, Thanks Fred
  22. The FF and Subby. And a Doomly stroll down the village square. Look at the people scatter or cower in fear. Life with Doom I guess. This is such a cool page. thank you for posting it.
