  1. Go to Tom Taylor's Twitter. It's confirmed Daken is returning. solicits, I'll take the writer of All-New Wolverines word for it that he will be returning...maybe not in next 2 to 3 months, but at some point in the series. Anayways I was just pointing out that the book was hitting some ridiculous prices....for a character who is mostly disliked. I can't see that solely Tom Taylor confirming he is coming back as the reason for the heat (this just happened within last 2 days), and other than the rampant spec that "x-24" is Daken, I have yet to see anyone of importance confirm X-24 is Daken in Logan. Now there are some possible specs in the mutant kids in Logan but until we actually see it and can confirm on wide scale other than screening leak speculation I wouldn't hold my breath. It is interesting that one of them can make the Earth move ala Quake tho. As for the other dude that dropped all the X-Titles being confirmed, some are speculated as def happening but not straight up confirmed, Yes. We can't take Blink being cast as a def for Exiles-she was also Generation X first and foremost....Now this is my speculation but that X-Men TV show description sounds like a twist and play of Gen X.. Mr Sinister has been confirmed for a future X-Men related movie though by Kinberg. Who needs links when you can Google? Laziness sheesh. What Culture, Movie Pilot, and Comicbookmovie.com are the 1st 3 to pop up all confirming Sinister will be in a future X-Men movie from Simon Kinberg. All this stuff can be fact checked doing simple searches...
  2. Wolverine Origins # 10 3rd claw variant is hitting some outrageous asking prices. Rivaling NYX # 3 in high grade slabbed. Actually the reg cover and 2 claw variant are heating up as well....
  3. What's going on for ASM #4 Ramos 1:10 Silk variant popping between $50-75 again for raw copies? Was consistently $30-40 a month or so ago where it settled after hitting around $50 the previous few months. More movie spec? I think it would be way too early to introduce her as I'm pretty sure Homecoming was in pre-production with a --script already when this issue dropped. Or is this residual attention/speculation from the Totally Awesome Hulk #15-16 Asian Team formation? I haven't been following TAH since after the origin in # 4
  4. They decided only one could go back to the future (present) or something like that, and the other would have to "die" so they went into a cave and only one came out. They didn't show what happened in the cave. Highly likely he didn't actually kill him in case he failed himself and that would be a contingency plan. I find the the lack of oxygen in the adamantium shell being sufficient enough to kill him inside and keep him dead. That's really been the only way that's been theorized on how to actually kill him and keep him dead. Of course there could be small holes from oxygen being released upon cooling. Giving him just enough oxygen to give his healing factor (that was miraculously jump started) a chance to keep him in a low energy catatonic state until freed. Or the much simpler version and the most likely- Jean Grey Phoenix resurrects him after breaking/melting the adamantium shell. The Phoenix force is vastly overpowered and the connection Jean and Wolvie have always had will be the reason now that older Scott is dead. She chooses to keep him dead because he sucks and everyone hates him now.
  5. Uncanny X-Men 317 & X-Men 37 starting to kindle as Jamie Chung is cast as Blink for unnamed X-Men tv show.
  6. I think the "other" Snikt-Bub isn't dead from AoU. I think they talked and decided he would hide out as a contingency plan if dookie got real.
  7. Been picking up UX #160s, 171s (besides Rogue, first soulsword) Magik: Illyana and Storm 1-4, SWII # 1 (Beyonder "wakens" Darkchild persona) and NM #30 ("first" Darkchild) for a little while now. People around my area are stingy with NM #14. Been on the DC Rebirth Holiday Special since it came out and my shop has been sitting on like 50 copies. Grab 1 each time I go in. Superman #10a $3.99 version is selling $50+ recently. The Alien G+ guys alerted me to that one. Got a few others I'll share when I have more time to dig out my spec books.
  8. Does it have Vision # 1 included? I don't remember where I heard this, but I was told that after the 3rd print, Marvel stopped including the Vision # 1 reprint. Yea that 6th print all black cover is going to be tough to find in 9.8. Most of the ones I've seen in the wild have some sort of scuffing on the spine or creases from packing.
  9. I believe the foc, for the c2e2 variant (PX?), is Monday the 30th. I think I will add 5 to my order... I wouldn't put too much stock in a PX variant. They typically don't do too much value wise. I wouldn't be either. This series is being heavily specced on as it is already m Marvel is making a push for the charts with overships and like 7 different variants of their own on top of offering store exclusives. Its not like this is going under the radar. I've been quietly scooping variants featuring her from the last few years when I come across them in the wild for cheap. One of the nicer ones you can probably find in the wild for $5 or less (currently) is the Ultimates # 5 Putri Women of Power variant. I actually came across the Ultimates # 2 Jim Cheung 1:25 in a back issue bin at one of my honey holes for $3. I'm all-in on America Chavez but a bit leery of speccing on her # 1 issue. I think this is the best if not one of the best covers for Ms. America. Its 1:10 so not the rarest but certainly not to be found in a dollar box. See like 2 or 3 on the bay atm so im bidding on one. Oh...its actually a pretty good title also. Cool Galactus story line and features the 1st appearance of his "new transformation" No spoilers. Check it out for yourself. Love this cover, I got 3 copies myself and they are all in my pc . Yea it's a good issue and series in general.
  10. It ended at 7 printings I believe... I think issue # 2 went to 5. That said, I do think the 3rd print to issue # 1 would be the one to have besides actual variants. There's no new art other than color change but they did add some funny banter between Spider-Man and Deadpool. Also I'd like to know if the 2nd print and so on also contain Vision# 1
  11. Me and you both. I like her origin and overall story better than Spider-Gwen but Spider-Gwens suit is very catchy and iconic. I have yet to see tons of Silk cosplayers which is usually a good indication of a characters popularity and staying power.
  12. I'm having a hard time with alot of these 2nd prints overall. Take Venom # 1 for example....easily over 110k distributed between retailer exclusives and "regular" copies....yet it needed to go to a 2nd print? For what? The 1st print is everywhere....it's not like it was under ordered by any means. Compare that to the 2011 Venom launch- there were 5 printings total and I don't think all 5 printings totalled more than 100k in total distribution. Yet, I see the this series # 1 2nd print being touted as "low print run, rare, htf, etc." That is more than likely true because no one ordered it due to shops still having a ton of the 1st print on their shelves. As much as I love the new Captain America series is it really selling out every issue? You also mean to tell me that Champions # 1 was SOOO hot that 400k+ copies of some sort couldn't satisfy demand? All these 2nd prints are gonna end up in 5Below Comic 4packs in the next 2 years.
  13. I believe the foc, for the c2e2 variant (PX?), is Monday the 30th. I think I will add 5 to my order... I wouldn't put too much stock in a PX variant. 14. That could still happen....Flash, Carnage, Mania, and others are said to be rolling over into the new Venom series according to the writer in one of the issues from a few months ago. I'll see if I can find it when I get a chance
  15. It was purged from Claire Dixon by Jubulile Von Scotter when Jubulile morphed into whatever-the-hell she became to take on Chthon. She was exposed to the Carnage symbiote in issue #6 but it didn't bond permanently, although it did leave her with powers that she never revealed in full until issue 16 when Chthon was tearing up. She had a psychic link to Carnage due to the Carnage symbiote being enchanted with Darkhold Magic after it didn't bond to her. Anyways, when Chthon was about to kill everyone, she mutated/morphed into like a white version of Raze and said she needed more power to take on Chthon and she absorbed the Toxin symbiote from Claire Dixon (I missed issues 14 and 15 so I'm assuming Brock gave it to her at some point there) and then she literally morphed into like a symbiote White Knight while Victoria Montessi cast a spell from the Darkhold. The enchantment spell absorbed psychic energy from everyone on the island and I guess funneled it to Jubulile. Then she wrecked Chthon quite easily (apparently she is more powerful than a demonic elder God?) and she reverted back to normal. Carnage killed Claire in a rage, and Montessi cast another enchantment that forced the Carnage symbiote to withdraw from Cletus and imprison him in a cell made of itself. The issue ends with everyone saying their byes and a narration that says something like "as one story ends, another will begin" with Brock walking away with a sort of smirk. The last issue was a let down really. It all felt rushed to end the story there when it could have taken one more issue to tie everything up and flesh out what the hell Jubulile mutated in and why at the last minute. The series was really good up until that issue but I guess things needed to end quick so the Venom series could reintroduce Brock asap. Throughout the whole series Claire was taking shots at Brock for his murderous ways as Venom and Montessi says had he not shared a cell with Cletus they would never be dealing with Carnage. The Toxin symbiote also morphed into a pretty bad suit similar to Agent Venom at one point. Edit- they never explained what happened to the Toxin symbiote. Although im assuming Jubulile still has it as there's one panel showing her reverting back to normal after she whooped on Chthon and I guess sent him back to wherever he chills until he is summoned. I liked the look of the Toxin symbiote in this series...hopefully they keep that aesthetic when it eventually reemerges.
  16. Batgirl Rebirth # 6 Manapul variant- an absolute ghost on just about all major online retail sources with a few high asking prices on eBay. All the cheap copies in there disappeared long ago. I have found 1 online retailer that still has copies for cover out of 9 I checked. There are probably plenty in the wild but alot of shops under order Cover Bs of Rebirth titles or dont bother ordering at all. Cover A is everywhere, Cover B not so much. Book contains the 1st appearance of Penguins son. Edit- I have no idea why this showed up as a reply when I wrote it as a new post
  17. It'll be interesting to see how that plays as well with Mr. Sinister being confirmed to not appear in Logan.
  18. Yea but this is what makes me wonder. http://www.cinemablend.com/news/1615390/how-logan-will-relate-to-the-x-men-timeline-according-to-hugh-jackman She could be adapted to fit in
  19. Really? And I say that with a puzzled expression, not sarcasm. If the movie was actually following chronology and continuity then I would be less likely to wonder. Kimura first appears 3 years later in 2006 after X-23s 1st app. Old Man Logan came out in 2008, Donald Pierce in 1980 (dies in 2013), and the Reavers themselves in 1988. Chronology and continuity span 4 decades from what we've seen so far in regards to where parts of the movie have come from in the comics. Taken from all over the place and different time li we. We don't know if Donald Pierce is the main villain or is a puppet yet since Mister Sinister has been confirmed not to be in the movie. You don't think as handler of X-23 she wouldn't have an appearance of some sort? Im not talking like plot-line major villain appearance, but as a sub plot. Like an appearance in general whether it be via cameo in a flash back or post credit scene sowing seeds for the future? You've piqued my interest here. Edit- I forgot Death of Wolverine from 2014
  20. I'm actually wondering if Kimura will be depicted at all.
