Ive been dabbling with collecting pulp for a few years now, and tend to like the covers from the mid 30's to the mid 40's the best. However I ran across this 1950 issue of Startling Stories with an appearance of Captain Future at a local con, and had to toss my preferred range out the window. I was pretty pumped to find it, and it had only been on my radar for a year or so. It features a pretty iconic cover drawn by Earle Bergey.

Small Detective ebay lot win. I have my dad's remaindered copy of 388, so it was cool to finally grab a complete copy - I always thought it was an interesting Joker cover.

will have at least 3 more +.

Picked up a collection of approx 800 comics earlier today. The majority were news stand editions, and the gentleman I bought it from bought most of them when they came out. The highlight is probably a full McFarlane ASM run almost all in news stand. The bummer is that a lot of the books are not in top condition, and the ASM 300 newsy has a completely detached cover. Just a few of the nicer books in this pic.
