This is a nice looking comic for the grade, that's because the cover and centerfold are detached. I had the book slabbed and it was not cleaned nor pressed at the time I slabbed it (and I doubt it was before).

I thought at first glance that was a variant that I had never seen.  The fact that it is a sketch is super impressive.  That is a great cover.  Good luck getting the signature too!

No huge defects but a lot of minor ones.  I think with the top staple and the loss of color/gloss near the spine I would put it at a 3.5.  I do think it is a nice looking 3.5 and a great book. Congratulations!

I think with the tic, especially against a portion of the cover that is a darker color, which makes it more noticeable, you would be lucky to get a 9.6, and more likely a 9.4.

I am not trying to be negative but I would think any rise in value from potentially going from a cbcs label to a CGC label would be offset by the cost of getting it graded and the potential for a huge loss.

I think it is a nice book that I would leave just like it is.

1.0 with an outside shot at a 1.5.  I think it has good eye appeal for a 1.0.

Due to the mostly black covers, there will be some production color loss mainly on back covers...it can't be helped.

FRANK MILLER's greatest achievement IMO...and now 40 YEARS old.

This series was made to be on HBOMax or NETFLIX.
