  1. Cheers! Thank you for the advice, much appreciated!
  2. Ouch 3k to nil is cringe worthy for sure. As they say if you are willing to play with fire prepare to be burned. This is shrewd advice, why didn't I think of that already?!
  3. Someone PMed me a way around all of that, but I am not willing to risk it. It's a 125$ book so on the grand scheme of things, I'll pay the fees.
  4. Appreciate the information. thank you
  5. Makes me kind of kick myself for not listing on Kijiji first though haha
  6. Alright, that's what I wanted to know. In that case, I will just go through the proper channels and not risk it over peanuts.
  7. Evidently I do not. Is there a way for eBay to find out?
  8. Hello gang, For the first time I added local pick up to my listings on eBay and sure enough, even though I am from a smaller city, someone is wanting to take me up on the local pick up. I am totally OK with this, even prefer it, but I am wondering if I can get into trouble if I by-pass eBay since the fellow is offering cash. If I end the listing, meet up with him at a public place and accept cash will I somehow get screwed on eBay? I don't want to handicap my ability to list on eBay in other words. Thanks for the replies in advance!
  9. Perhaps he fancies himself an expert negotiator
  10. All that and a bag of chips. It's not like I'm looking to take out to a nice sea food dinner and never call again
  11. I'm always looking to trade, can never find a partner. I think the hardest is trading between ages. If I'm offering BA/SA, no one wants to pony up GA...
  12. Most Archie nuts hated this series, and show, but it captured the time
  13. What is this neat thing? It looks like something I want to play with. What does it do?
  14. Are your walls drywalled or? If drywalled, I am surprised they didn't cut off the bottoms of the drywall in the affected areas and replace them since drywall will soak up standing water, even if it was only there for a short time, and start to mould rather hastily.
