  1. I got the Marvels epilogue X-Men cover. I was pleasantly surprised at the price. I tried getting the Star Lord/Groot cover but it sold before I could checkout.
  2. I'm 99.9% sure that it's not authentic. Joe and Jimmy signed all the pages. All the DD pieces I have/had never had the blue tint. Pass on it.
  3. Received my item today. I have to say I'm really happy with the whole process. The shipping was very reasonable and quick. I would have liked a little more sturdy packaging, though. It was packed very well and arrived in perfect condition, but just felt a little light. You know? But in the end, I'm very happy with the art and the whole transaction. I'll definitely keep an eye on their future auctions.
  4. Yeah, I noticed a few instances of that and artists who signature you recognize but listed as unattributed artist.
  5. I won the Arthur Adams piece. I didn't find out until after it's the cover to Infernal Man-Thing 1. I'm thinking the questioning of the integrity of the auction house played a part in a lower hammer price. I think it's legit, pretty much everything looked on the up and up to me and at the price it was worth the risk.
  6. I sent a request for a few pages. If I get them, great. If not, well no big deal.
  7. I paid for a commission in cash at a show four years ago and am still waiting. Now, I don't mind the waiting because he happens to be my favorite artist and I know it's going to be amazing. What does bother me is he doesn't do the commissions in the order they were received so I have to see all these other amazing pieces that came in after mine while I sit around like an a-hole. I've sent numerous emails (like two or three a year) and it's always the same "I should have that done in a couple months." He's notoriously slow in his professional work and I know that comes first, but it really does get frustrating.
  8. I do not. Thanks for posting that, I think I'll pick one up.
  9. I store my art in a safe in my basement. It's a finished basement with a dehumidifier always on. I also have two Remington dehumidifiers in with the art. They're the kind you plug into the wall and the little balls dry out.
  10. Hi, Long time lurker, finally posting. I had one those OMG! moments a few months ago. I was on Anthonys site and saw the Mike Allred Han Solo #1 cover was for sale. I sent a purchase request and crossed my fingers. Seemed like hours before I got a reply, but the confirmation email arrived and the cover a few days later. A couple years ago I found a great Perez Avengers half splash on CAF that I couldn't believe was still available.
