That Cap went over so well I think I will post another! I just love Cap from the 40's. Between the rabbit punch to the back of the guys head, Cap screaming "Booyah!", and the toe in the crooks throat this was not a guy you wanted to mess with!

I just finished "Operation Mincemeat". Great book about how a corpse saved thousands and enabled the invasion of Sicily during WW II.

they are. and apparently cgc had a change of heart about timely "file copies" sometime between old and new labels. west's old label says "file copy," my new label usa 2 at top of page does not. tho' i feel sure that the "file copy" appellation does not really add to the value of these books like a true pedigree would, i'd still like to have mine say it.

The holes on the Sub #10 are the most unobtrusive I've seen posted. Maybe that is why they were so forgiving?

Wow! Great Haul!

Cool! Was it a small local show? There was a guy ten years ago who set up at a small toy show in Albuquerque. In among all the Beanie Babies sat Catpain America #14 and Sub-Mariner #7. My wife had to pick me up from the floor!

USA #13 in Good/Good+ condition. Exceedingly hard to find!

Here's an All Winners #7 I had a few years ago. I can't remember who I sold it to but it was on Ebay. Seems to be a bit harder to find than most other All Winners.

Here's a Cap 32 I picked up a couple of years ago. One of my all-time favorite Cap covers.

Timely file copies are amazing! I'll have to keep an eye out for them.

USA has always been my favorite Timely run. I only have #9, #13, #14, and #15 but I really want a full set.

I just don't have the money and I foolishly sold off the #7 abnd #8 i had.

That USA #2 is insanely nice for a 7 .0!
