This photo didn't turn out the best, but here it is anyway. The book looks great in hand
Man, that woman really wants to protect her teddy bear! Great cover!
Actually, it's a bit easier to see in hand, but what looks like a teddy bear is actually a baseball mitt in his hand. She has both hands on that bat. I'm just not sure why she's beating the snot out of them WITH that bat!!! Maybe she's trying to hit the ball. Maybe CGC should note it as a male bashing cover
Looking at it again, its obvious she has a glove. I guess my inherant sexism made it into a teddy bear.

I posted the RR 1 and AW 19 previously in the GA 6.0 thread, but thought they deserved to be here as well. Both are grails. A BIG thanks again to Tyler and Wally on the Red Raven and the USA. The "other" Timely key arrived yesterday. I never expected to get all four books within a few short weeks of each other, let alone within the same calendar year!
mmmmmm so very nice! (thumbs u

This is an old scan. The book has been reholdered into a newer style label. I just don't have a new scan yet.
Young Allies and Kid Komics just don't get enough love! They have some of the best covers of all the Timely's. Nice book! (thumbs u

Just bought this one today. Canadian Blonde Phantom #18. Go to the Timely comics from other countries thread and check out the differences between this and it's American counterpart!!!

Here's one I don't think I've posted. I handed this over to CGC in Chicago a few years ago and it graded a blue 2.5 which is exactly what I bought it as and thought it was myself. I don't have a scan of it slabbed.
NIce! I havn't seen this one very often! (thumbs u

My very first Captain America Comics. In spite of the slight miscut, I'm very happy with it. Real nice OW/W pages and vibrant colors. After reading god knows how many books and seeing god knows how many books on the subject, I knew one day I would own this book!
And still after all these years the best non-fiction book on the Holocaust is the one I read in high school: "The Destruction of the European Jews" by Raul Hilberg. He died a few years ago and his book was highly controversial for many reasons. Another good non-fiction work was Hannah Arendt's "Eichmann in Jerusalem: The Banality of Evil". Turns out they corresponded for many years.
Great googly moogly! Nice!
Show me your Timely's and I'll show you mine. Have a Cigar...

Wow, I'm just giving up commenting about this one.
I'll blame the pretty girl for distracting me. If there is not a pretty girl, please don't tell me! I'm happy in my own little world.
