didnt this come out a long time ago? thanos 13 3rd print

Yeah it did. That's why I'm not sure why people are whining about pumping and dumping. I don't remember any of the later printings selling out. Many were on the shelves for weeks. They easily could have been bought for cover price or less. Once the first print went over $100 then collectors went looking for the later printings. 2nd print sell for around $35, 3rd print for around $40 or higher. Some sellers are testing the waters to see if they can get a hundred or more for the 3rd printing. Strange things have been happening with the Cates comics so anything could happen pricewise.

Thor #2, #4 and #5 are shooting up. Sorry if it's already been mentioned!

#2 was around $80 last night and today it's creeping up to $100! I had one posted at $80 last night and before it sold, I saw one go for almost $125, so I posted one at $125. Then I revised the $80 up to $125 and sold it for $100.

I'm still picking these up at cover, so I'm happy!

Some areas are Comic deserts. Especially with so many shops either closing down or switching to Gaming and just selling dollar book back stock.

So where are all the savvy collectors? They're at least vastly outnumbered by the illiterate fools in the current market.

"A fool and his money are soon parted." There is a reason old adages stay relevant, because they are true. I can't speak for anyone else but carnival barking does nothing for me. Best way to circumvent the influx of "illiterate fools in the current market" is to not be one of them.

Wasnt her first appearance in Batman Eternal?

Batman #28 is Harper Row's first appearance as Bluebird. The story continued into Batman Eternal #43.  According to the DC wiki, Harper Row's first cameo appearance as just herself was in Batman New 52 #1 with her first full appearance being in Batman New 52 #7.

    I agree....then I see Venom 3 3rd print selling for 800 bucks

I just wish I could time my personal sales when the pumper and dumpers are in full bloom. lol I sold two Venom #3 3rd prints for less than $20 a piece. Now those sukkas are bringing in that insane amount. :tonofbricks: I'm not going to cry about it though(any more).

Ah yes, the "cooler cover" argument of pump and dump. Doesn't change the fact that it's incorrectly being pushed as the first cover appearance.

Hmmm....just checked most of the current listings for Thanos #13 third printing and none of them tout the comic as the "first cover appearance". The listings state it's the first appearance of Cosmic Ghost Rider which it is.

People have been pushing it as the first cover appearance of Cosmic Ghost Rider. Problem with that is that is, he was on the second print as well.

True but the third printing is the better Cosmic Ghost Rider cover. The 2nd print cover is squarely centered on King Thanos with CGR standing beside him looking kind of lame. 3rd print ,CGR is flying in solo on his cosmic cycle with guns a blazing. No wonder it's a fan favorite.

  8. Snyder and Tynion designed Bluebird(Harper Row) to be a Batman protege that's skilled with electronics and in the area  of electrical engineering. If Joker's war story arc is heading in the direction I think it is then Batman is going to need some new gadgets or improvements thereof in order to deal with Joker and his minions. We've already seen a new armored suit in issue #95.

Batman #28 New 52... multiple copies sold the past 24 hours... up to $20... who is Bluebird?  this used to be a book to look for several years ago

Bluebird: Harper Row, DC new 52 character who is also a character on the DC Universe Young Justice TV series.

12 2nd print and 19 2nd print are doing well, also.

Yeah, I think Venom and Thor are setting records with the sales of later printings. A lot of retailers still haven't caught on to their rising popularity. Most LCS in my area only buy 1 or 2 copies of  2nd, 3rd prints, etc. Some will only order them to fill requests by subscribers.

Venom 4 is doing really well...solely on the strength of Venom 3 I guess.

    2nd app Knull

Well Venom #4 is Knull's origin issue. The black cover with the Hamlet type scene is pretty cool too. Venom #4,#7,#9, #25 & #26 all are performing well but I wouldn't contribute it all to the strength of #3. Collectors have taken a shine to Dylan Brock and recently to Virus, who just came on the scene in #25.

Oh god, I know of the Avengers one, but how many of these Wednesday variants did they make?  They're terrible.

Marvel totally got over on me but at least I bought them through pre-ordering for $2.79 a piece. I picked up the Amazing Spider-man,Avengers,Captain Marvel,Empyre,Immortal Hulk,Spider Woman and Venom. I still think I paid too much except for the Venom #26. I will have to use that one to ease my visual anguish.

I remember reading that FF story. There displaced on wanted to fix the timeline by killing I think it was Galactus right?
How do we know its the same character I cant remember. I know Millar wrote it, but where does it say that's who he is.

How does that tie into Old Man Logan universe? Is it from that timeline or a different one?
