My issue 34 just arrived in the mail today. I got a cool condensed understanding of the leader I was unaware of. What it means to this storyline I don’t know

Seems like they were suggesting he is the "Immortal Leader". It appears almost all gamma mutates are immortal in a sense but they change subtly when they return from the "dead".

I'm actually trying to think of something memorable happening in ASM in the past 5 -10 years and I keep coming up empty.

Yeah, I collect everything Spider-man and this latest series with Peter Parker has been a snoozer. Grim Hunt was nothing to write on a forum about. The series with Silk  was mediocre but garnered attention after Spec took off for issue #4. I liked the six part Spider-verse story arc where Spider-punk made his debut but the series quickly went nowhere. Red Goblin spec created a huge stir around issues #794,#795 and #796 but the thrill was gone by #797. #797- #800 first prints barely go for above cover price despite the first appearances and story arc ending. I'm waiting for Donny Cates to take over writing Spider-man lol. Just kidding....kinda.

Sellers quoting recent sale prices either GPA or from other sources without giving a more complete picture is misleading and annoys me to no end.  Just wanted to vent.

I wish buyers would send more pm's and ask more questions or even haggle a little. There is relatively little communication from what I observe. Hundreds of views but no pm's. The VCC format is kind of restrictive but I am sure if you PM the seller and ask for more scans they would happily oblige. Just like when you walk through a show and you see a dealer's wall books. You ask them to take them down so you can get a closer look. Buyers please don't just look at the page then click away in disgust. :sorry:
