  1. an unrestored yes... a extensive restored no
  2. In my book Action 1 is slightly more valuable. But thats just me. im not the market. Good for me then since I realky love tec27.
  3. Yeah. Indeed but I hope so too but maybe there some people 100k is like 100$. Comic book market is getting closer 1/100th closer to the art market
  4. If Gator says high 200k is a strong possibility then it is and I stand corr eted thinking it was a low 120-130k
  5. Yes convienent in the Q&A and nit the description. Also the Part lf leaving it innits natural RESTORED was removed. Nonetheless i do understand that they are trying to market the book.
  6. They say 4-5 which is moderate extensive them say SLIGHT Also they removed the Natural state
  7. is proud to offer this AUTHENTIC AND ORIGINAL Action Comics #1. 3rd party grading would call this a .5, incomplete with (slight restoration) color touch, cover cleaned, reinforced, pieces added and staples replaced.
  8. I agree... Sophiscated buyer would buy a completly restored book. Theres a great Action 1 coming up on comicconnect. Btw they removed prefer leaving it kn its natural state comment. also these comments are misleading: With values of Action #1 increasing over 20% year over year, that comic would sell for nearly DOUBLE just 4 short years later
  9. Indeed moderate extensive 0.5 missing cf and the wrap after that is split.... Also we dont know if the pages were treated.... large piece added, moderate color touch, Cover cleaned... Im leaning towards extensive unslabbing or not grading this one is a uneverving especially them calling it slight resto. Newbie with money would be fooled.
  10. This shall be an interesting auction. Ill be keeping a close on eye on these.
  11. Agreed but also restarting an auction impacts the price the second time around. Yes!! A chargeback would be horrible!!!
  12. I agree. Also Non paying bidders etc.... Auction houses can cancel bids from people who have no prior large dealings or cant verify fund. This ebay auction anyone can bid. Thrill bidders paradise!!
  13. Comicconnect in march a Tec27 Jerry Robinson copy to boot!!Signed and his personal copy. also private sale last week slightly over 30k missing cf cream to off white pages. Btw. If you have a cash buyer at 100k i have access to Action 1 coverless complete off white pages no resto. To you or any other boardie. So public is a hard real sale and I can offer one for 100k now for any takers.
  14. I would be too but would pay what I think its worth. Its moderate to extensive and incomplete 0.5
  15. I was one to say that but we all meant in a few years 3-5 if the market keeps rising. Its already about 70k for a complete and missing cf are selling for 35k and under. All super presenting ones. The cover on this book is extensive. slight never has spine work, etc, etc. Maybe moderate at best. Thats why they didnt send to cgc. Not as sexy when its moderatee extensive amateur. 100k makes sense. Im saying this cause im an actual potential bidder that could do it now. I would just buy an 8.5 moderate 242k Instead of this extensive 0.5 at xxxxxx
  16. I also thought 100k max since Just this week the TEC 27 8.5 moderate sold for 242k with 6 months time payments. It was complete. The centerfold is not about Slam bradley... Its about having a complete book. With the centerfold... Good lick finding and for a hefty price for sure: 35k -50k... You are left with and extensive 5.0 So at the current 100k its already 135k150k. Centerfolds mater!! Its about having the complete book. At 100k makes sense. Over that its someone with not enough patience or knowdlege of current market. Better to wait for an extensive complete 5.0 at 150k with a 6 month payment plan from Comicconnect.
  17. I completly agree. When a superb copy no missing pieces or page, tape, rusty staples, resto, everything attached.... It would be a 100k copy in a not too distant future.
  18. The Jerry Robinson Copy missing the CF signed and that presented better no tears or chunk off the cover sold for 34.5k The DC file copy sold for 41k missing CF badly trimmed and spiral bound. Both those copies are Special and get a bump like the Mile High pedigree, etc. Dark Knight whos has a great wealth of Knowledge said 25-30k Also. Multiple copies of coverless have hit the market!! thered a missing CF copy in the next august auction I perfctly presenting non pedigree complete with CF would Sell for 50-60k However. Longterm a grear stable longterm investment that you can enjoy! First apperance of Batman!
