  1. Here's one I'll probably never get over That staple wasn't detached when it was submitted...
  2. Cankor is great! I got lucky and a Half Price Books had several copies of the first 2 issues of the original series...in the clearance bin. I never heard of it but I bought them all at 50 cents each. I've since sold them for around $100 a pop. I also have several of Cankor's Calamity of Challenge #1 (regular cover) and picked up several copies of an insane mini comic Matthew Allison did called Sweet Sepulcher! Great comics and very rare apparently.
  3. I had a Wolverine #75 with a Gold hologram. It was a deep gold color very distinguishable fro the yellow/green. Sold it for $200. I've seen many copies of all the various colors but that was the only gold one I've ever seen. I know I have a pic of it on my home PC. I'll post it when I find it.
  4. Values seem to be all over the place. I pulled 3 high grade bagged copies out of a 25 cent bin 2 days ago.

Had a copy of this one myself, but had to sell it for $$$ to buy more comics Lol. Great cover. a classic.
  6. 144 copies? That's pretty gross...I mean that's a gross! Lol!
  7. The Metal #2 looks like more of a cameo appearance...It should get some cred, but TT12 is a full appearance where he is actually interacting in the story, plus being on the cover is a biggie. Those who are clamoring for Metal #2 to be the official CGC first appearance have likely invested in Metal #2, which is still a legitimate book...just not as much as TT12. I had a TT12, which I sold. So I have no horse in this race.
  8. Any bets on the garbage lady Jadis becoming Alpha? She seems unhinged enough to put zombie skins on.
  9. ...and the nipples ON the costume...a-la George Clooney's Batman
  10. I love Keown Hulk too..IMO he is the best Hulk artist. His stuff with Peter David on that title in the 90's was incredible. This particular cover isn't my favorite though. He's capable of much better.
  11. This Daredame cover is not PC these days...the innuendo's with the tail... ...and instead of the "Man without Fear!" it's the "Woman without a Brassiere!" omg.
  12. This one might be kinda rare - from the early 90's. A little innuendo action as well...Lol.
  13. Why be facetious when someone has a legit question?...Geeze guys. In all seriousness, that's an awesome Jim Lee cover and worthy of hanging on a wall. -First remove the cover from the book by bending the staples in the centerfold out, then carefully pulling the cover from the book. The monetary value of the book is much less than the artistic value so replacing the book is cheap. I see them all the time in .25 and .50 boxes. -I'd mount it on a board cut several inches larger than the cover on each side. Black or red board would look nice with this cover. -Position the cover centered on the board (use a ruler to be sure it's even). -While holding it in it's position bend one side of the cover over and add an adhesive to that back side of the cover. A very small amount of glue would work but I'd probably use double-sided tape. -Press the adhered side onto the board. Repeat for the center and other side of the cover, making sure the cover is still in a centered position on the board. -To hang the mounted cover on the wall I'd use adhesive wall hangers.
  14. Here's a guy who was asking a lot of odd questions about a listing. I checked his feedback left for others and I blocked him straight away due to the high number of neutral and negative feedback left. daniel51369
  15. McFarlane for me too. I remember being turned off by the art on all Spider-Man books for several years, with the exception of a few books here and there by Byrne and Miller. When Todd took over it was like a kick in the head.
  16. What are #1's for the 2006 series going for now? There are no copies and no info about completed sales on eBay. I'm contemplating putting my copy up.
  17. Who liked hockey in 1948? Bugs I guess...
  18. Blue Bolt Weird Tales of Terror #115. Nice L.B. Cole cover. Picked this up yesterday. Wish it was a little nicer, but it isn't too bad.
  19. I found some info on this and I'm now pretty sure it is the original comic. No idea of it's value though. http://www.tcj.com/humble-beginnings/
  20. Thanks. I originally thought that might be the case too, but this "looks different" as in looks photocopied and the 32 stories version was printed and higher quality. I think the 32 stories books were reprints of the earlier original comics. I'm thinking this could be one of the originals.
  21. Does anyone know anything about this one? I'm familiar with the current Optic Nerve series, but this is a self-published mini-comic from 1993. Probably pretty rare? I checked around but am unable to get any info about it's value/rarity. Thanks!
  22. Miller's DD run will be legendary forever. I was reading #170's - 180's back in high school in the mid-80's. Unfortunately Miller's more recent work has taken a little of the luster off of those earlier stories. That has likely been the reason for their slight loss in value. No comic artist one can stay on top forever and Miller's art has lost a couple of steps. I'll always value my Miller DD's. Although I did sell my high grade #168 awhile back I'm keeping my others for the foreseeable future.
