No I know it is of no real value to track every sale what matters is how thing go over time every few years or so. I just like tracking some sales it gives me a chance to chat on these boards.

How much is the going price now for a CGC 8.0 with white pages?

Hahaha but Cerebus is still a key BA book with a very limited print run it will continue to grow in value simply because there are more people that want one that there are that are available. I own a CGC 8.0 white pages and enjoy owning it!! But no way is he more popular than Wolverine and never will be.

I am not seeking huge increases every year even if my books went up 10% each every year I would be happy and if it is more then even more happy.

Sure it has 2 years ago 4.5 went for 14 500$ how much has it increased since then....more like decreased.

How is it all SA keys are selling so low right now like they do almost every year at this time?

The time of year sure seems to be playing into a lot of lower prices. Same happened last year and the year before. So I get what Gator does.

No wonder why Gator goes into hibernation from November till the spring. Horrible time to be a seller.

Well it's official it is a bad time of the year to sell any SA key books. The last 2 nice looking SC 6.0 went for over 8700$ and one over 9000$. I still don't believe the book will go back down to 2015-16 prices. In the end if it went up 50% to 75% (150% was maybe just to fast) in all grades that is still a lot in one year.

The only thing Hulk has been smashing lately price wise is into a wall!!

That 5.5 that sold for 57k was way way nicer than the one that sold last night. That top right corner looked like someone slammed a door on it more than once. That is why it went for 39k and not 57k or close to that. I would prefer light MC over that copy that sold for 39k. I am not saying the market has not slowed down in all grades 7.0 (some went for 150k now some go for 140k and some 130k) and lower. To many copies in 5.5 and lower have come up for sale in the last few months. Sellers need to pace themselves more in those grades. If they want to get top dollar that is.

I am not selling mine for at least another 10 to 15 years or more. I am not worried. But I believe in my statement 6.0 and higher is where it is more stable. The CGC population reports agree with my statement that after this grade the population drops off a whole lot.

The book will do just fine long term in all grades. The sweet spot now is 6.0 and higher and that makes sens since the population drops a lot in that grade and higher.

Seems like almost every single SA key are duds right now.

7.5's seem to be in the 130k to 140k range at least the last 2 sales.

Maybe but it makes for a ugly presentation.

Maybe the kid turned into a adult that wanted to relive his youth so he decided to stain Spidey's face once more and when he will reach old age maybe he will just pen mark the entire front cover. Maybe he has Spidey issues!!

Heck I would not even buy for 20% of it's total value.

Main focus for 2016-17 was AF15 and everything else SA not so much. Showcase 22 and JIM83 maybe the only other exceptions.

The AF15 CGC 7.5 that sold the other day went over 140k I don't believe he bid on it.
