Any chance that BB28 is a book right now that is simply more in demand in say 8.0 and lower?

As far as key issues go (I have not seen all other non key covers so it is hard to judge) Showcase 4, Showcase 22, Hulk 1, AF15 and Batman 121!!

It will take a while for Hulk 1 to ''play catch'' up to AF15.

GA without any doubt!! I collect SA but the older artwork of GA is simply amazing!! And for SA I would have to go with the ASM series from #1 to #50 and X-men #1 to #20.

SC22 the ''hidden gem'' of the entire SA!! How can some not like the cover art on this book!! One of the coolest covers of all-time!!

What can you expect on a CGC 3.5 even most mid graded copies have MC.

Agreed but the prices of AF15 are not going back to 2015 or 2016 levels. They are having a normal set back after such a huge increase in value then the new norm in values will be set per grade. Until the future then it starts all over again but maybe not like this current cycle in such a small amount of time.

What evil people we are to keep our books in CGC holders....evil, evil and more evil. Bad collectors, bad collectors you should be ASHAMED!! And the war continues on between the PURE collector and the ones that dirty the PURITY of this hobby....us fake collectors no matter how much we love our books and this hobby!! I guess some people will thank us 200-300 years (imagine in a 500 years or more we will be remembered as those that saved some copies for future generations) from now when the only books remaining or almost will be the ones that where protected by companies like CGC. Now do 10 hail Marie's and all your collecting sins will be forgiven my son (but in some cases we may require a exorcist when the sin runs to deep) and don't forget to drop off a few dollars at the front door on your way out....we also like money to keep our buildings preserved you know none of this stuff comes cheap. Saving collectors souls cost money my son now go on and sin no more but if you do come back don't forget to bring a few more dollars so you can be saved again and again!!

AF15 has a new price point per grade and it is almost 100% higher than each grade sold for just a year ago or so. Hulk 1 on the other hand has not gone up at all in most grades. AF15 is on a whole other level now unless Hulk 1 starts picking up steam again. Witch I believe it will over time.

Hulk 1 is dead in the water in the for the past 2 years like FF1 was for many years. I purchased my nice looking Hulk 1 CGC 4.5 2 years ago for 14 500$ and has not bugged. Right now seems like JIM83, SC22 and a few others are what is hot. I think FF1 in mid to low grades is making a comeback and also X-Men 1 in 9.0 and lower it seems. So much for Hulk 1 keeping pace with AF15 like AC1 and TEC27. At least in the last 24 months.

The only book that seems to have sold within the ''new'' AF15 market price range is the CGC 6.5 based on the MC it had. HA prefers getting any type of commission than sending a customer to another auction house because the seller wants to sell right away versus waiting for the more opportune moment. That would be just bad business. Maybe some of these sellers don't know many auction houses (I only learned of a few more in the last 3-4 years myself) that in the end could have produced a better final sale price so they went with the one most people know of witch is HA.

Early Christmas gift for the person who won on that CGC 5.5. Went dirt cheap!!

Thing is the sellers decide when they want it sold threw HA so HA complies but probably warns them against it first. HA can't tell people when to sell and not to sell. Some of those sellers may have need the funds ASAP. Is it a smart move....no not at all but the customer is the customer.
