  1. As a gen X'er I can get behind this theory. I myself have drastically cut back on purchases and even sold off a good amount of books as of late.
  2. changing your policy on signature books I agree with, changing grading policy mid game? just plain fubar imo. Not a good look
  3. I was in pursuit of the best copy of this cheesecake cover but most copies out there are pretty rough.
  4. I find dragon ink comics more entertaining. Not only can I get updates on comics, but a years worth of identity transformation in real time
  5. jeepers! I just wanted to know what the books were going for in the end. Tough crowd
  6. again, if its not too much trouble, is the hammer price shown include the 15% juice?
  7. very very strong results.22 blows me away. great cover and tough book, but 2.5....damnnnn
  8. curious, are those final hammer prices on those early TEC's with the 15% juice?
  9. attempted to submit just now....."Your order cannot be submitted at this time. Please try again later." ugh! never mind, just checked packing slips and now it shows multiple orders of the times attempted to submit...4 in total. oh well, at least it technically worked
  10. I have purchased a few GA raws from them in the past and in my experience they overgrade by at least 1 point if not more but they are generally nice to deal with as far as customer service. Much better options out there
  11. This cover is better than the US version IMO. Only graded copy
  12. Relax Francis, results may vary from person to person. Read carefully....if u submit signature auction books and that action isn't for say 4 months, and payout isn't for roughly 45 days as u say, in my book, thats nearly 6 months. you must be selling low end Sunday auction funny books
  13. MCS. has the fastest payout of any auction venue I've used, I just wasn't all that impressed with the final sold results.
  14. HA is the best if you dont mind waiting about 6 months from sending , to listing, to receiving payment. ComicLink, great folks and SA does really well, but in my experience not the best results for GA or bronze CC? unsure , never used 'em
  15. CGC is simply incentivizing bad behavior and unfortunately I don't see CGC stepping up and saying this practice will no longer be encouraged. But hey! I've been wrong before
  16. Profit above historical importance seems to be the norm in the modern era. Most removal ends up making the book look like krap in many cases
  17. I only own one purple. I own an All American 19 restored. I have always wanted that book, but I have zero desire to drop 10k on a blue in the same grade, hence I'm satisfied despite what the haters think. So eat my shorts u naysayers
  18. no, sir, not I. Wonder if that could be considered Jims first published work
  19. Opening Bid is $ 25.00 Buy it Now is $ 350.00 includes shipping Will include shipping if bid exceeds 200.00 PayPal, Check, M.O Auction ends 12/14/23 at 9 PM Eastern time. Fun Fact: #1 is difficult to find, #2 is really easy to come by although DTA has the only copy of #1 (a 7ish) on eBay
  20. yes, thats the Heritage copy I was outbid on by 100.00. That spine is pretty rough and you could risk splitting the cover completely if pressed. 3.5 at best glad I dodged that bullet
