  1. clueless clowns. imagine if they put this much effort into finding a real job
  2. GA books are sprinkled in here and there at various internet sites, but Richard at Tomorrows treasures has a good selection at 2031 pricing
  3. interesting thread. The book in question shows the cover was folded into a square. Thats one hell of an odd fold. I came close to pulling the trigger, but my spidy sense was tingling. Hope for the buyer that its legit
  4. stupid ridiculous made up stories (promise), ridiculous and utterly stupid collection names (Fantast), and insane and almost unbelievable prices. I for one wish to put 21,22 and 23 in the rear view mirror
  5. however to the OP original point, shilling does in fact take place in any online auction setting. Good luck preventing it It's just the nature of the beast
  6. Fedex sucks and I wish CGC would stop doing returned submissions with them

  11. Not sure if its been discussed, but I found it absolutely captivating
  12. no offense to current sellers, but seems most good books go straight to the auction house these days
  13. not familiar with OA, is this an expensive lot
  14. any idea if the end of the month BNY comic con is going to be mostly coz play and junk, or actual comic dealers. Asking for a friend
  15. JHC bro! Buy a bunch of mailers and send the books back. Surely u can come up with the cost of postage
  16. Thief? Possible, but I think grossly incompetent is probably the correct term. I had only heard about him when Comic Tom had him on and continuously giving him constant praise and accolades. Well, a few weeks ago I decided to hit him up with a possible spine roll reversal on a relatively pricy book (at least for me anyway), and he wrote back last week explaining that the misalignment on it would not be worth fixing and that I should probably live with it. Now a thief would take my book and agree to "do the work", but he didn't. So, I think he's just a big boob who got over his head and doesn't have much of a knack for business
  17. I gave up getting pissed about their grading. I had a book come back a 7.0 and clearly it isn't below an 8.5 but I was always told, "buy the book, not the grade"
