  1. I was curious about this, too. NA nos. 16, 17, 22, 27, 31 are not on the list, but the listing is incomplete. Several thousand books got sold beforehand. For example, NA nos. 15, 18-21, 29, 30 are not on the list either, but are shown or mentioned in this thread (#20 reported stolen from H. Yee). NA Church copies nos. 23 (according to Chuck's listing: "nm"), 24 ("nm"), 25 ("nm+"), 28 ("nm+") could still be hiding somewhere. If I got something wrong, please make corrections.
  2. Thank you for sharing these beauties! Prime-time show
  3. Really amazing video ... And greetings to your husband @Karen's Pages
  4. Grades recorded Just kidding ... Thanks for the contest, the final round is always the best
  5. Amazing collection ... Especially love that Future Comics, what a beauty! Seems pristine, which Pedigree is that? Never mind, just saw in the "Denver or Okajima" thread (-> Denver copy)!! Just gorgeous!!
  6. That was easy (I don't even count my points anymore ... ) But I like the girls on the covers!
  7. The Yellow Kid sheet is not a cover but a newsstand poster (following Outcault's transfer from Pulitzer's "World" to Hearst's "Journal" in 1896). The stamps book is indeed cool (and I am not a stamp collector): Among a lot of great history on stamps and on the Island of Mauritius itself it contains the "CVs" of all 37 or so surviving copies of the famous first editions of the "Blue" and of the "Red Mauritius" stamps. And yes, the book about the exceedingly rare 78 rpm records (not only "blues") is very good, too.
  8. I love this thread!! Here's what I did in 2023 ... First off, two VERY good reads: I'm a sucker for treasure hunts! So are these 10 infamous guys and I have a heart for them: Can you name them all? One of them probably placed this ad: In 2023 I drifted even more back in time ... and got me something from the Platinum Age Newsstand: For 2024 I have no plans but I know I'm much too young to stop collecting. Let's see what the market brings to light
  9. Grades dutifully submitted ... So, GA books are out of stock now? Thank you, Mike, for the contest!
  10. Pondered the same question a few days ago but were afraid to ask You know ... privacy and such ...

  12. Hi I am looking for more of these advertising posters and for any publisher's information on them. Did they print any more posters with different covers? Anyone sell me a better copy condition-wise? Thank you
  13. Gorgeous piece and a great 9.4! If you care to share the story of its origin I'll give you a 9.6! And who was is that could not fold it straight?
  14. Ad closed. I have now opted for some nice copies of Harper's Weekly (with Sherlock Holmes stories) from 1893! Thank you for helping me with the decision. Much more fun with the covers and the format 😊
