  3. Will pause at $10K, much as it did around the $5K mark, where it stayed for a whopping 3 months before it’s current spike
  4. I would take the cpv 9.8 and occasionally re-submit with the hope it comes back a 9.9. the gap between a 9.8 direct vs 9.9 direct is ridiculous
  5. FYI, there is an ASM 252 CGC 9.8 CPV with white pages coming up in the Weekly Heritage auctions...here's the link. The Amazing Spider-Man #252 Canadian Edition (Marvel, 1984) CGC | LotID #31007 | Heritage Auctions (ha.com) Should be interesting to see what it goes for. I would be surprised if it didn't hit $5K.
  6. I see that Heritage has a 252 CPV in CGC 9.8 coming soon in one of their weekly auctions!
  7. Are you noting the differences caused by direct vs newsstand copies?
  8. This has already surpassed the previous high for a McFarlane-only CGC Sig Series 9.8 direct. Curious to see what sort of premium this newsstand edition will bring. If I recall correctly, the highest sale recorded on GPA for a 9.8 sig series direct = $15K (signed by Lee, Michelenie, and McFarlane)
  9. Ending tonight...all of the artwork has current high bid between $4-$107, so its all still very, very, affordable. Good luck to all those who bid, and thanks for your time!
  10. Large Mike Dringenberg Death painting. Not sure if this was published, but the back says that it was auctioned off at the 1990 San Diego comic con.
  11. So many more incredible OA pieces recently added to this auction ...over 700 lots now. This one's gonna hurt my wallet!
  12. Garney Nightstalkers page featuring Blade, Frank Drake, Hannibal King and Stonecold. Its only a matter of time before these characters appear in their own movie or tv series. Lots of discussion recently about a Blade movie.
  13. Exactly! that, plus a lot of comics collectors are not necessarily tuned in to Star Wars as they are Spiderman. ASM 300 is a huge book, with arguably the most important character conceived in the 1980’s ( aside from TMNT), and folks are starting to look upon it as the copper age equivalent of Hulk 181. Additionally, the Venomverse of titles is alive and well, with many more Venom and related titles forthcoming before and after the next Venom movie. Finally, as many have stated, there are way more copies of ASM 300, but folks love this book and so many collectors want to own at least one copy (many want multiples). So it’s difficult to see this book decreasing in value for all of the aforementioned reasons. I will concede that the book may plateau for a time at $10K (mental threshold to overcome), just as it did at $5K, where it stagnated for approximately 3 months.
