  1. Then you should buy immediately. Stop what you’re doing this very instant and buy the highest grade copy that you can afford right now.
  2. The result for the 9.6 is even more impressive given it has ow/w pages. If it had white pages, it would have ended close to $8K, I think
  3. Hobgoblin is just as big a villain as Venom?? Sorry, gotta disagree with you there
  4. 1st venom + McFarlane art > 1st Hobgoblin additionally, asm 300 is a good jumping on point for someone who wants to complete a decent sized run of ASM without breaking the bank
  5. At this price point, I’d personally throw in $900 more to pick up an ASM 300 in 9.8
  6. The only reason why I placed such a high bid on the 9.4 Cerebus 1 is because I recently sold my 9.2 sig series copy and wanted to replace it. I was hoping to get the 9.4 signed by Dave and then keep the book in my permanent collection. But my bid didn't even matter because at least two bidders topped my high bid.
  7. Hi, folks, I've consigned a few great books this week to Heritage, with auctions ending Sunday, Feb 28th. Here's what's available: ASM 300 cgc 9.2 white pages signature series (McFarlane/Sharon/Parker/Salicrup). Here's the link: https://comics.ha.com/itm/modern-age-1980-present-/the-amazing-spider-man-300-signature-series-todd-mcfarlane-and-others-marvel-1988-cgc-nm-92-white-pages/a/122109-11034.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 Hulk 340 cgc 9.6 white pages signature series (McFarlane/Romita Sr/David/Parker). 8. I'm expecting the sale prices on the 9.8 and 9.6 to draw more copies out of the woodwork. that 9.8 was exceptional.
  9. That has me thinking that with the recent spike in 238, well, I hate to say it, but it’s making ASM 300 seem relatively ‘cheap’ y comparison. Let the brick-tossing begin!
  10. You are correct seems as though these leaps in prices are occurring more frequently. what was eye-popping, jaw-dropping prices hikes only a few months ago is now the norm.
  11. Has anyone else noticed the strong uptick for this book (universal, direct) over the past few weeks? Sales of: 1.8K (2x), 1.65K, 1.55K, 1.75K, and 1.7K. Haven't seen too many sales for universal, direct 9.8, but there should be some action with upcoming Clink auction sales.
  12. Wow! Thanks for bringing this sale to my attention. I’m stunned by this result!
  13. The $3.5K+ is one singular sale of a Newsstand copy. A direct copy would sell for maybe $2.2-$2.5K today, which is a lot less than the Newsstand, but still a significant spike from last summer's prices. Just wondering whose buying at these prices?
  14. There are many times when I tried to sell books here for less than GPA with no takers. then I list it on ebay or Heritage and it sells for significantly more...happens all the time. BUT, just because you couldn't get $1K for it here, that doesn't mean it wasn't selling for more elsewhere.
  15. Hi, folks! All of these auctions are ending tonight on Heritage, and all are still below fair market value, so here's a great opportunity for you to pick up some hard to find books at reasonable prices! Good luck to all!
  16. Hi, all: the auctions for these great books are ending tonight. All of the books are still well below fair market value, so there's an opportunity for you to pick up some great books at a decent price. Good luck to all bidders!
