  1. Just as the title says, I've got two wonderful CGC Signature Series books for sale on Heritage. The auctions end this Sunday, Jan 31st. Here's the books: Amazing Spiderman #71: https://comics.ha.com/itm/silver-age-1956-1969-/the-amazing-spider-man-71-signature-series-john-romita-marvel-1969-cgc-fn-vf-70-off-white-to-white-pages/a/122105-11052.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 Amazing Spiderman Annual #16: https://comics.ha.com/itm/modern-age-1980-present-/the-amazing-spider-man-annual-16-signature-series-john-romita-marvel-1982-cgc-nm-mt-98-white-pages/a/122105-11059.s?ic16=ViewItem-BrowseTabs-Auction-Open-SearchResults-120115&lotPosition=1|0 Good Luck to All Bidders
  2. Hi, all; For those that posted here previously wanting Suicide Squad and The Badger pages, there's one of each in the current HA weekly auction, ending Monday, Feb 1st. I do not own the art, but just want to help out fellow collectors fill their want list. Here's the link to The Badger page: https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/neil-hansen-as-spyder-and-denis-rodier-badger-55-story-page-5-original-art-first-1990-/a/122105-11742.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 And here's the link to the Suicide Squad page: https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/john-k-snyder-iii-and-geof-isherwood-suicide-squad-37-story-page-18-original-art-dc-1990-/a/122105-11861.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 Good Luck!
  3. Actually, no. The PITT #1 has a publication date of Jan, 1993. But it was preceded by a 1pg pinup in Spawn #1 (May, 1992) - the PITT's 1st appearance. The PITT #1 was also preceded by The Malibu Sun #19, published in Nov, 1992, where The PITT makes a cover appearance.
  4. I didn't bid on last weeks' page nor will I be bidding on this one. However, yesterday I picked the Death of Amanda Waller cover from Suicide Squad #12
  5. Another Suicide Squad page is listed on HA's weekly auctions, ending tonight: Here's the link; Luke McDonnell and Geof Isherwood Suicide Squad #35 Story Page 30 | Lot #15653 | Heritage Auctions (ha.com) Here's the pic:
  6. I disagree with this. I would have a listing for Byrne MTU pages inked by Austin in the $10K+ level. pages inked by others should be listed in the $5-$10K level
  7. My response was to Lee's question about never having seen a Byrne MTU page go for over $10K. Hi Hari! Do we have many, or any, confirmed examples of Byrne MTU panel pages breaking the $10K mark? I follow these pages pretty closely and have not seen this myself, although some pages at auction have come close. Thanks, Lee I suspect several A-level pages would break the $10K barrier now, in particular, those inked by Terry Austin. Some pages inked by Dave Hunt may have a shot, depending upon the popularity of Spidey's guest-star of the month.
  8. Popular Story. MJ as Red Sonja. This page sold for well over $10K in 2016 or 2017...
  9. Hi, folks; I was watching the closing of the weekly HA auction yesterday, and the final bid of $1,680 surprised me. Is there anything significant about this issue or storyline or this page in particular?
  10. Seems as though the discounted prices on the 9.8's and 9.6's were short lived, with 9.8's averaging around $4,800 and 9.6's averaging $1375 over the past few weeks.
  11. Thanks. I should also mention artwork by perennial favourites such as Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, Colan, Caniff, DeCarlo, Frenz, Hernandez, Infantino, Jurgens, Kane, Lim, sprinkled with the occasional Sienkiewicz, Romita Jr, Romita Sr, etc. I especially enjoy the Batman sketch lots (2-4 sketches of Batman by various artists) with art from John Bolton to Jill Thompson. Great stuff, and again, it's very wallet-friendly. Here's the link to this weeks' HA OA auction (bidding ends tonight). Good luck to all! 12. I realize there's a lot of discussion about A-level page values and the HA signature auction where the more expensive stuff is consigned for sale, but an alternative to folks who don't have deep wallets is the weekly HA auctions. There's always great stuff for sale, and the quality continues to improve, with work by Art Adams, Alex Raymond, Mike Kaluta, Brant Parker, Jim Davis, and many, many more. Over the past 4 months, I've been picking up late 80's - mid 90's superhero pages for under $200. Bart Sears, Paris Cullins, Val Semieks, Joe Staton, etc. all of whom are solid artists from this era. Perhaps its a bit of speculation on my part, but as mainstream superhero art by A-level artists becomes out this reach, I'll have a nice collection of these pages to enjoy
