  1. The auctions for these books are ending today, and all are still well below fair market value so here's an opportunity for you to pick up some great Romita Sr. Sig Series books for cheap!
  2. I used to think similarly, but recently I've changed my thinking based on the increasing number of time-payment transactions that I've experienced, heard from other collectors and dealers, and witnessed. Time payments enable folks who couldn't otherwise afford a purchase today, the time to generate additional funds via sales of their comics or other merchandise, allocate future salary or commissions, collect on IOU's, obtai an LOC or what have you from a financial institution, etc. As the books continue to increase in price, we will see more purchases made via time payments.
  3. Bidding has started, and there's some strong prices already!
  4. Bidding opens tomorrow. Good luck to all (except those bidding against me) 😉
  5. I don't think I have to tell you how much this book has picked up in the past month...seems like its on everyone's want list as ASM 300 is starting to price itself out of people's comfort zone. Anyhow, I've consigned this beautiful CGC signature series to Heritage Auctions. the auction ends Sunday, Nov 1st. This book is signed by McFarlane, Salicrup (Editor), McLeod (inker), and Parker (Letterer), and features the 1st appearance of Venom in a large, last page splash. Here's the link to the book: https://comics.ha.com/itm/modern-age-1980-present-/the-amazing-spider-man-299-marvel-1988-cgc-nm-96-white-pages/a/122044-11112.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515

  7. Given the number of raw newsstands in 9.4 or lower being offered/sold this past month, watch for significant changes in the next 6 months to the direct vs newsstand chart that Valiantman has provided.
  8. It’s far more distracting than the Spidey head on the direct version
