  6. Shipping: All books are CGC Signature Series Certified, and shipping is included FREE within North America, ROW we split it. Who wins: The time stamp seals the deal as to who wins, regardless of the form of communication (including PM, or in the thread). If there is an unconditional posted (or communicated) it will trump all negotiations unless we have already both agreed to terms before the was posted. No House Of Shame or Probationary members or any others with a bad reputation of non-payment. Pricing: Although I am open to offers I do try to price as fairly as possible so offers of 25% off my listed prices will not be successful
  7. John and Sal Buscema Jones and Muth Byrne and Dwyer
  8. That’s fine, Glen. you and I often agree to disagree.
  9. Yup, there’s always one bad apple in the bunch. Sigh...
  10. I get it. I’m just tired of the Kult of Kirby supporters thinking that he created everything, every character, every style of art, and that he was the greatest at everything. this thread is about which artist(s) WROTE the best stories, and Kirby ain’t it. Period.
  11. Kirby “wrote” ? You mean those panel descriptions? I wouldn’t necessarily say that Kirby is a great writer based on that, because the dialogue between characters is what made Marvel so different, and Stan should be given his rightful credit for the dialogue that made the Marvel characters stand out vs DC and other publishers. Kirby’s writing work post-Stan on the 4th World titles leaves much to be desired and as such, this is the reason why Kirby should NOT qualify for this list.
  12. Carl Barks and Don Rosa Frank Miller Terry Moore Mike Grell (NOT) Jack Kirby!
  13. I would remove JR Jr from the list and add the following: 1. Don Heck 2. Erik Larsen 3. Humberto Ramos 4. Paul Pope 5. Vince Colletta
  14. I would add: Marshall Rogers. When I think of the definitive Batman, I think of his incredible work in ‘Tec. His work on Mister Miracle was also excellent and a welcomed upgrade from Kirby’s work on the title. Dale Keown is missing from the list- best Hulk artist ever! Mike Grell’s work on Warlord and Jon Sable is far superior to many of the artists on the OP’s list and he should be included. Frank Brunner is another great artist who should be included on the list Don Rosa, the heir apparent to Carl Barks, wrote and illustrated some excellent Ducks stories in his own right, but he also wrote and illustrated the greatest origin story of all time: The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. If you haven’t read it yet, do yourself a favour and pick up a copy. You’ll be glad you did. It’s a timeless tale for kids of all ages.
  15. Gobby also made a cameo appearance in ASM #47 (Apr 1967) 👍🏻
  16. This is what's defined as a 'key' book these days? Yeesh!
  17. Starlin also wrote some interesting stories for DC, including Ten Nights of the Beast (KGBeast) and the Death of Robin, among other noteworthy stories,
  18. Minor clarification --> Byrne was born in England, then moved to Canada prior to moving to the USA
  19. Do me a courtesy by not responding to my posts. you are incredibly snarky and love bending definitions to serve only your point of view.
