  2. I was 16 when Watchmen was published and I purchased each issue from my LCS monthly. So I was just the right age to really be into comics and understand more mature storytelling. HOWEVER, Watchmen was about as interesting as watching paint dry. I tried again 10 years later, and yet again when the movie was released. My opinion has not changed, so tell me, what’s the big deal about Watchmen? What makes it interesting, the ‘best’ mini series, etc?
  3. Superhero 1. Infinity Guantlet 2. Daredevil, Man without Fear 3. Wolverine 4. Crisis 5. Elektra Assassin Non-Superhero 1. The Black Dragon (Claremont/Bolton) 2. TMNT 3. Love Showdown (Archie) 4. The Life and Times of Uncle Scrooge 5. Understanding Comics
  4. Starlin’s 17 issues as Batman writer were very memorable, in addition to his writing on Batman: The Cult. im not a DC collector, but I was happy to come along for the ride on Batman due to Starlin’s writing.
  5. Agreed, very fishy high bids already on some lots
