  1. Is there a McFarlane & Michelinie combo signing coming up any time soon?
  2. I think you’re using the wrong image for the “standard” cover here. Might confuse some people. I believe it’s supposed to have trade dress?
  3. All the labels are perforated. It's a tiny perforation mostly visible along the long edges. I've seen it on blue, yellow, green, etc.
  4. Rich, who made the cut-off on the Realm Tour Variant books and who is on the waitlist?
  5. As far as getting "cheap blanks" you might want to visit your Local Comic Shop and tell him your story. Maybe you can propose the idea of buying damaged or undesirable blanks off of him at a discount! Sometimes the shops get a case of blanks and the bottom few are really dirty or have bent corners. Those are harder to sell for most shops since collectors are trying to add sketches to them and want books in tip-top shape, so maybe he'll agree to sell them to you for cover or less? Maybe.
  6. It's ONLY a pre-signed photo for the $400 tickets, for the $1200 you can have any ONE item you bring signed by her.
  7. Well... that was a let down... no images? Copy/Paste error? I'd love to see what came of this op.
  8. To my knowledge he doesn't go to conventions EVER. The only real chance to catch him is at book store signings and things like that. Rich got some early this year when he did a book store signing. But even then it was limit 3 per person or something like that.
  9. Derek's contact info is still on their website... try calling him? http://www.anastasiascollectibles.com/ It's listed under the "Contact" page. It's a 714 area code number. As far as the price you paid... I'm going to assume they submitted it under the "Standard" tier which is for books valued over $300 but less than $1000. The cost for that tier is $65 plus invoice fees and Anastasia's "facilitator fee" ... that puts you at like $85. AND IF YOU HAD IT PRESSED before grading then a book in that tier costs an additional $65 from CCS. So, that plus return shipping could get you all the way up to $150-160. Now, all that being said, if the book wasn't in NM- (9.2) or lower condition than you should have submitted it under the "Value" tier and could have saved on the pressing too and got the grading and pressing done for under $100, if memory serves me correctly. **CGC doesn't list their Sig Series pricing on the website anymore, so number are all approximate**
  10. That must be a "new rule" because he signed in silver and gold for me at a show 3 months ago! I think the previous comment is probably more accurate, the line was too long and they didn't want it taking more time constantly switching pens. If I need a specific color I usually have MY OWN pen ready to go when I walk up and if I'm getting multiple items signed I group them based on pen color.
  11. Let me know when he offers to do more than head/bust commissions. Those full figure pieces look great!
  12. It IS officially a thing... get in touch with Doug Peters (username: "dscott" - see above)... and he can get books at SDCC, deadline is approaching though.
