I think overall the prices realised in this auction were strong, not crazy high but no major across the board lowering of prices given the volume of material. Im predicting the Dec OA auction will bring record prices for alot of the DC 60s art especially the Anderson spectre cover

Could be one collector who is selling up and funding their retirement?

Would you recommend these books?

There's 2019 the legends and 2020 book 2 the modern Masters. Anybody read these and would you recommend them? Are there lots of photos of OA with documented prices?

Hey all you DC OA collectors, don't blow your load too early on the November auction because there is a ton of DC oa coming in their December auction. Some Adams, Perez Ernie chan covers, tons of sekowsky pages incl . JLA 22 Also some showcase 55 pages Buckler pages There's also a Spidey 29 page but far less marvel OA in this auction. Will be interesting to see if the results will reflect any market over saturation ......I do not recall so many heritage auctions so close together. Then they have their January signature comic and art auction......whew!

This is exactly what happened to me! They stopped answering after I said I would pass on their asking price for marvel fanfare 7 cover Two weeks later they did not reply on another enquiry

I've been checking their site the last five years....I never remembered seeing prices listed for art. Are you sure this price was from two years ago?

The Jim 107 splash disappeared around 13 October I think Guess they don't want to oversaturate the market......maybe they have concerns about the current state of the USA economy and how that may affect the auction

Do people think miller's decline is due to a reduction in his physical abilities/ function die to age, or could it be a stylistic change given how his style has changed/ evolved/ devolved over the years? Ditto that question for John Byrne

Yes I noticed the fall in auction lots too. Maybe if they don't want to take so many losses in one hit what with the falling prices in OA🙂

A very nice CGC 5.5 AF 15 with no chipping just sold at heritage for 55$k,. 10/22 This price I think is around 2019 prices before the crazy pandemic prices
