  5. Nice cover. Didn't know you were a forumite when I sold you the book. I checked my records and I sold the book to you as VF/NM 9.0 with white pages.
  6. Et tu, Sterling? And I always thought your were an upright guy, far beyond snoozing at something one has acquired, the way the faux-trauxll fauxks do!!!. It's OK. He won't be snoozing when I get my HOMs slabbed by CGC.
  7. It's my only copy & you said you needed a break from buying. So I sold it to someone else for dirt cheap. Just kidding. When I get another one you will be the first to know Greg.

  11. Even more Kudos to "ckb" for quick delivery of 100 Standard Mylites 2. Thanks! Kudos to "greggy" for recent multiple transactions.
  12. Overdue kudos from the past few months to: greggy joe_collector drbanner supapimp all4comics metropolisent blazingbob comiclink
  13. Bigtime Kudos for Sean ("Deucedriver") for a great deal on a great comic! It was a perfect transaction from beginning to end. A day after he had shipped the comic he sent me $4.25 via PayPal for a shipping overcharge ( I paid $8, and the postage cost was $3.75). I recently exchanged negatives on eBay with a morally bankrupt seller who overcharged me $14.65 on shipping so this was a pleasant surprise. Kudos to Metropolis for 2 batches of nice books. Although they made the mistake of sending me an extra book; one that does not belong to me! Arrangements will be made for its safe return so that it can make its way to its rightful owner in Kentucky.
  14. Recent Kudos: greggy: my # 1 customer. Greg's a good guy to talk comics with. We met at a local con in Vancouver and completed (another) deal. As you all know, he loves his sweet, sweet DCs and romance books. Rickdogg: quick to pay, no BS buyer. joe_collector: sold him a small batch of high grade Bronze. We've done business before. A great guy to deal with, and to talk comics with. zonker-dude: eBay transaction on a couple of comics which he BIN'd. Quick email replies & quick to pay! drbanner: sold him a sharp looking VF Wonder Woman # 178 on eBay. I think he got a good deal. Quick to pay (and a good guy to buy comics from too). Lantern: overdue kudos from last year. Sorry, I didn't know your forum id! Brian's an all around great guy to do business with. 2 thumbs up. osborn_france: just sold him a big batch of high grade Bronze DDs, MTUs, and TODs. All sharp looking NM- to NM copies. David has an excellent grasp of English considering it is not his first language, and he submitted lightning quick payments through PayPal. I love dealing with buyers outside of the US and Canada. Through my experiences, they are serious, no nonsense collectors. metropolisent: picked up another high grade batch of comics from them including a couple of upgrades on some tough books. I've read some bad comments about Metropolis here, but they have been nothing but good to me. I had a problem last year with their grading on some of my orders at the time and Vinnie called me to rectify the situation. Everything has been excellent ever since. Problem solved.
  15. No, I'm not an artist. Well, at least not for a living. I still doodle though, and I love drawing Batman. I sometimes wonder/dream about what it would have been like if I had pursued a career as a comic book artist. Man, talk about a dream come true. However, I would have had a tough time justifying to my parents and myself that I was going to pursue a career in "funny books" rather than going to university to pursue a more "conventional" career. If I did try to become an artist, I think my parents may have disowned me!
  16. Bruce, how about this for an Aliens vs. Predator one-sheet movie poster or possible cover for a movie adaptation: Click image to view larger version Low cost image hosting and full service auction management solutions: AuctionWatch If it's not clear, the Alien is "wagging it's tail" to catch the eye of the Predator, and then while its distracted, the Alien leaps out of the swamp water to reveal itself to its foe... I drew that picture over 12 years ago when I was still in high school. Not bad considering I was 15 at the time, eh?
