Just got back from the LCS with..... Finally got a ASM 268 w/ the tatooz, also picked up a nice 269 as well Conan 1 TOD 1 GI Joe 1 I'll scan some and post later, also have some HG Swamp Things to post (CGC) of the HOS 92 and ST 1-10 slab run I'm putting together.

Ahh,FFB, he need not worry, as she's sound asleep beside me as I type (laptop in the bed), but at least he's got some HG comics??? I just like ultra HG in more than just funny books......seriously, good to be back, and hope all is well with you. Peace CC.

Great to see this thread still very alive and kicking!!!!! The CC collection pulled in an Avengers 4 raw and I'd say 7.5-8.0 nice copy GS X-Men 1 raw 8.0-8.5 also, I,ve got the cross hairs on a couple of slabbed WBN 32 slabbed @ 9.0 a WBN 15 slabbed @ 9.6 @ the LCS in town. WBN 15 is still picking up steam, especially in HG 9.6 + Peace-CC

Pulled in a Davis Crispen GA in CGC 8.5 COA'd as well included by CGC last night....my first Crispen. I'll try to post some scans when my books arrive next week....not done yet, as the hunting continues.

Picked up my fav Bernie Swampy cover in CGC 9.0 Swamp Thing # 9 Picked up some of my fav artist Mike Ploog in CGC 9.4 Monster of Frankenstein 1 Picked up some BA keyness in CGC 9.4 Iron Fist 14.. I have more in the cross-hairs....hoping to bring down more HG game this week!!!

Added another WBN 32 to the WBN 32 horde, it's a nice book VF+ 8.5 to VF/NM 9.0. This brings the CC collection to 41 ( 10 slabbed and 31 raw).

Will get a higher graded copy and a HG raw copy, but did score a Hulk 340 CGC in 9.2....something for the Copper Collection.

Well, nothing new added, but did finally drag out the SA and BA keys and seperate them into BA and SA boxes, then hauled out the Spideys, FF, Thors, DD, Hulk, X-Men, Avengers, Subby and divided those into SA and BA and put them into the SA and BA boxes( the issues that are valued FF 52, 53, 55 etc Subby 5, 8 , 9 etc. Hulk 102,141, 161, 162 ,180, 181etc. and other important issues of each run.) still have some work to do, most likely going to sell of a WBN run and TOD run-the majority anyway, cull the WBN 1, 15, 32, 33 and TOD 1, 10, 13 etc, then sell some lots. Laid out 3 Man-Thing runs and got a nice VF+ or higher run outta the three( 1st run-1-22 and the GS issues). Pulled out Iron Fist-Kept MP 15, 16 and 25-IF 1, 12, 14 ,15- sell the other MP and IF copies. Some I have not decided wether to cherry pick or just sell the run-Champions, BA Inhumans, Godzilla(Marvel), Jungle Action w' Black Panther and the Black Panther BA run-Kept Swamp Thing 1-12 ( 1-10 was a no brainer, but I love the cover to 12). Still have some culling and cherry picking to do, but the collecting focus has changed, as I burnt on the run building. Strictly grail and Major and minor key hunting from here on out for me......anyhow, it was a fun afternoon, as I sat down and read a few old goodies before I moved them into the "STOCK" box, but I have to switch gears to get the juices flowing again. Now the Supes and Bats , and Teen Titans boxes await, but I'm gonna have a few cold ones and decide what and when to sell the overflow. The Books posted reccently are beautiful-way to go October...nice hunting my man (thumbs u -Peace CC.

Still collecting and the coast has always been a great place to treasure hunt books. Purchased a nice collection about 6 weeks ago of SA and BA beauties. I mainly cooled on the MB in 06 due to lack of content, as every thread became a flame war...insults galore and just got clique as hell around here, but it seems to be more on track...and dare I say..more mature. I'm still a Licensed Contractor by trade, but the market has kept business down for me as well, but we did just move a very big $$ house this month which will close this coming Friday. Good to be Back.

Doing quite well Arex, as I hope you are, and I hope your family is as well and your collection. Same old stuff for me.....75-80% BA Horror and such.

Back in 06, I purchased some very sweet HG TOD and WBN from Blowout, to start another TOD and WBN run(s). I did finish them up about 4 months ago, and along with my HG Giant Size Marvel run, they are part of the collection I cherish the most. I've put together numerous BA Horror runs, but these two are all HG and very sweet. As far as the CC collection goes, I'm still heavy into the Marvel BA Keys, as I've been since 98. Still always in the hunt for the SA keys, but the BA is where my collecting heart lies I guess, still, I have to work on the SA and CA boxes at some point in time. My next ambition is to do a HG raw Conan run 1-275 and all the GS issues. I've only done the Conan run once, and it was alot of fun, the ish 275 was a hard book to come by when I did it the first time, but that book seems to be more plentiful nowadays-Peace CC.

Outstanding Hunting one and all, I've not got through them all yet, of course, but Fabulous Stuff. Keep'em coming!!!!!

On topic, I will be selling one of my Ghost Rider Runs this week to a LCS, the owner needs another MSpot 5 and a loyal customer needs to fill some holes to finish up his first GR run.

I want to thank everyone for keeping this thread going, as more than a year ago it was just a look-see as to waht was going on in our collections. Thanks for the CGC crew for pinning it and it has just kept on going. Also, just this past week a Detective #1 and the week before Chroms ASM 1-fugging outstanding work as a whole. There is some very beautful books on display in this thread, so please, keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
