  1. Regardless, it's a fun mystery. I'll keep my eyes peeled for more. Did you figure out where all the malls are located geographically? Is this a East Coast or West Coast, or are they all over the place?
  2. It was published in April,1938. Yes, issue 1 might be the first. Unfortunately, there are no photos of that issue or the 1st issue of the 2nd Aussie Felix series. I have spoke with several golden age Aussie collectors and no one has ever seen a copy of either one.
  3. I don't know how difficult they are to find in Poland but there are not many Polish comic sellers online. For someone to obtain one without going to Poland is tough. Same for countries such as South Africa, Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Czech Republic..... In contrast, countries such as Germany, Italy, UK, France....etc, have many comic sellers online and their back issues are easier to obtain.
  4. By foreign collecting standards, this is a very scarce edition from Poland.
  5. Greek 2nd edition. Modern Times published Marvel comics without permission. These were ordered to be destroyed but copies still exist.
  6. And what happened here? Another significant book with phoned-in artwork. What a mess...
  7. So unfortunate that this horrible cover will probably end up being a very significant book 😂
  8. Hello fellow funny animal fanatics! I have been working on this Felix the Cat article, trying to track down his earliest appearances. CGC does not have an official "first appearance" notation so I decieded to dive deep. If you have a second, let me know what you think and if you have anything to add. Thanks https://infinitehorror.wordpress.com/felix-the-cat/
  9. Does anyone here own or have a photo of the first issue of this series? I have been doing some Felix research and it's possible this series might be the first ever Felix "floppy" comic. Both GCD and Ausreprints are missing the photo. Here's what I have so far, if anyone cares about Felix....😆 https://infinitehorror.wordpress.com/felix-the-cat/
  10. Those claims end with the destruction of the universe. It's very important to continue arguing first appearances. 😉👍
  11. The topic of this thread clearly says "anywhere." I don't know why all the trolls came out to feast. Thank you all for the list of preview books. I have owned multiple copies of all these spiderman comics since the 1980's. It's nice to see other books of interest to hunt for. I really don't care how people classify them.
  12. Almost non-existant...... almost. Here the same edition with two different covers, from Australia.
  13. Here is how it should have been labeled to avoid confusion. This is a Marvel Legends edition. It is still labeled as "reprint," which is still physically innacurate but at least the label makes more sense.
  14. Ok, here's a little rant.. When we label everything a "printing," this thread demonstrates the kind of confusion that happens. This book is not a "4th printing." It was not physically "re-printed" from the same equipment as the first three. This is a completely different modern and physically original edition. This should also not be labeled as "1986," when it was produced 2009.
  15. Your massive spam dumps with little context or organization do your collection no justice. Take your time. Organize your pics and post them into the appropriate age and genre threads. What would be an important, world reknowned collection looks like a jumbled mess.
  16. Here's one more book to add to the conversation. Four Color v.2 119. Read the banner at the bottom of the cover. I think this should be considered an important Felix key. Everything up until this point was reprinted strips from the Sunday papers. This is the first published exclusive comic book material.
  17. Enjoy! https://comicbookinvest.com/2018/09/21/chilling-adventures-of-collecting-sabrina/
