I've been taking a hiatus from the boards since the holiday season, but I'm back with a new thread. This semester (been working at colleges for too long to think of the calendar any other way) I'm stuck in a dead zone: I finished my PhD in December, but won't start a new job until the summer. So the first time in many years, I'm not teaching this spring. I figure I would start an ongoing sales thread that would help fund my eventual move and go towards my student loans. I will start posting today and add a little more each day. Invoices will go out each weekend on Saturday or Sunday, and then the week will start fresh. Each month, what doesn't sell will be moved on to another selling avenue and fresh books will start the thread over. The Rules:. 1st gets it over PM offers. As always, I'm hoping I price these enticingly, but I will always entertain fair offers. Shipping is a flat $6.49 for however many books you buy. I would like this to be lower, but unfortunately the post office just raised prices. I use rectangular comic book mailer boxes with additional padding. Will ship to Canada at cost, but please PM me about it first. PayPal is the preferred method. If you want to send a check or money order, please PM me and ask first. A few of you have bought from me in the past with other methods and will be honored again. Returns are accepted if initiated within 7 days of receiving the comics. If there are any graded books, returns will not be accepted on those. Now, on to the comics...

Lot of 4 Fantastic Four Low-Grade Reader Copies: $45 Lot includes low-grade but complete issues #31, 34, 35, 39. These are all between 2.0/2.5 to 3.0. #31 is the lowest grade and the cover is just hanging on. #34 is probably the best. #35 has some paper loss on the cover and is close to the #34. #39 is structurally sound but is almost all creases.

Hello all, I had to cut my last thread short, and this stuff was supposed to be on it. I'm going to be traveling for the holidays, and my wife and I decided to take few day detour into Wyoming and Montana to celebrate finishing my doctoral program. I figured I'd offer these books up finally and try to have a little extra road cash. The thread will stay up for 2 days with maybe a third. Everything will be shipped out by Wednesday. The rules: 1st trumps a PM. I'll always entertain fair offers. Shipping is a flat $5.99 and this is more for the supplies that I use and picking up a bit of the shipping. This is for U.S. only. Contact me via PM if you are international and perhaps we can work out something at cost. Returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the comics. However, the return itself will have to wait until after Christmas, but before the 1st, when I return from travels. You simply have to contact me for a refund. I don't imagine this will be an issue though. 10% of all the sales on this thread will be donated to a local pop culture charity out of Tulsa. They are currently doing a few fundraisers, including getting Big Brothers and Sisters to have their own special premiere of Aquaman. PayPal only on this one, simply because of time constraints. Thanks for looking.

Hello all. Apologies again for having to close the last thread down sooner than I would have liked. I was slammed between work and readying for my dissertation defense... I am now Dr. Deadlift! Anyway, this big book is the precursor to a different type of thread coming up starting this weekend. I'm surprised I'm considering letting my Adventure #247 go, but it's always been a bit out of my collecting tastes. It comes from an original owner collection that my friend bought last year and I picked this up from him. It presents better structurally than a 4.0 but has two very small diagonal corner pieces missing. One is on the front cover and it on the upper right. The back cover has a small corner piece out on the upper left. Staples are firm, but the top staples has a bit of rust. Small dust shadow. Cream to off-white pages. I had this slabbed in October. The most recent 4.0 sale was $2640 in October. 4.5 sales seem to be hovering in the $2900-3000 range. I think $2640 is a bit high for this particular copy, though it's a hard book to find. I'm asking $2500 shipped with insurance included. I will consider partial trades of up to half of the value if they are higher grade copies (above 6.0) of less expensive silver/bronze keys, or EC horror. If you want to make an offer, feel free to PM me. I prefer PayPal but if you have used another method with me before, just PM me and we'll discuss. No returns on slabs. Shipping is included for the U.S. only. If you're from out of country, PM me and we'll see what we can do. Obviously, first trumps everything. For this particular book, I will be donating between $100 and $150 out of what I make for the following fundraiser: https://www.facebook.com/TPopExpo/ This is a non-profit group out of Tulsa that does various comic-related fundraisers for literacy programs in schools, and at children's hospitals. They are currently raising money for a few things, including a Big Brothers Big Sisters event to take the children to a special Red Carpet Aquaman premiere. I donated a thousand comics to them for the literacy campaign in September. They are a great group. Not only will I donate a small bit from this personal sale, but the next full thread I have will be books I'm donating to sell where 100% of the proceeds will be going to the Tulsa Pop Kids This will be coming in the next few days. So, look out for that thread. There will be a bunch of silver and bronze books up at a good price for a good cause.

Sorry for radio silence. I've had some things come up to make this a very busy week, so I won't be able to post new stuff as planned. I'm defending my dissertation on Wednesday but also have a small comic show that I'll be doing on Saturday. I will be sending invoices and if paid, your respective books will go out by Tuesday. Then, I will post a much bigger, more extensive thread after my local show with a ton of good stuff. Thanks again for everyone's interest.
