This just came in a collection I picked up...the one sad lonely, beat to heck golden age book. Cover is almost completely torn but is somehow hanging on a bit on the bottom staple. Back cover has tears and mangles. Comic itself is complete with staples all the way through. Golden Age reader or if someone wants a restoration project. Price includes shipping. 1st gets it over PM. Ships only to U.S. and will come in a sturdy box with first class shipping/tracking. PayPal only on this one. No returns unless absolutely necessary, so let me be clear again...this is mangled and sad, but complete. Even sad golden age deserves a home. The price is $45 shipped

At the very bottom of a box of comics I picked up recently were a handful of quite sad looking golden age and early silver age books, whose conditions immediately made me mad, as these would have been great finds. About the lot: they are all complete, but there is a mixture of issues with them. I just want to move them on to someone who takes in all the golden age orphans, even the ugly ones. The lot includes: Journey into Mystery #60 (GD-) A weird combination of tears on the cover along with paper loss and scuffing. But the cover is all there and attached. Spellbound #33 (GD-) Pretty much the same predicament as the JIM Rawhide Kid #16 (GD/VG to VG-) A scrape of paper loss on an otherwise VG book. One of the better of the lot. Personal Love #2, volume 3 (GD/VG to VG-) Same as the Kid. Has paper loss from a sticker and white out over a written name. Very small spine split. Cover full and attached. Mutt and Jeff #42 (GD/VG to VG-) Big spine roll. Paper loss a bit near one staple. Actually presents the best of any of the lot. Decent low grade book. Alley Oop #16 (GD-) Cover barely hanging on to one staple. Paper loss at bottom of the spine. Some internal pages have tears but are complete. Staples retreating so centerfold is unattached. Of course the rules: 1st gets it over PM Shipping is included in price for U.S. only. I'll keep it in country on this lot. I just don't want the hassle for this ugly lot of low grade books, but would otherwise ship outside U.S. I'll take a return (return shipping on you) within 7 days of receiving the books. But, seriously, these are dogs, so don't buy expecting the sun to shine on their backends. We'll call this $55 Shipped for the lot.

Ghost Rider #4 (1951) VG/FN $300 Okay, so for now, the only golden age book I'm posting is at least a Frazetta and it's sweet. This would have been a straight up FN+ if it wasn't for that small brown stain on the back cover. Have no idea what the stain is. Bleeds lightly into a few pages, but is only in that one spot. The rest of this book is tight. Staples are solid. Did I mention it's Frazetta?

Every once in awhile, I like to offer a lot of comics in one bulk lot at a discount. Nobody ever takes me up on it, but maybe someday. So for everything listed thus far, we'll call it the early silver DC lot. The total is $197 right now and includes: Detective 258 Brave and the Bold 38 Robin Hood 11 Action Comics 373 Sea Devils 4 Mystery in Space 71 If anyone wanted all of them in one swoop, it would be $170 for the lot.

I'm trying to be proactive, as we are moving in the next 2-3 months and it's time to either cut down some of the collection, and/or raise a little extra in funds. I'll post a handful of things today to get started, and if they move, I'll keep the thread open and add more as it goes. Hopefully, prices are to move, although I will always entertain offers through PM. First gets it over the PM Shipping is a flat $5.99 for anything, no matter how many books you buy. This is to just curtail supply costs. Shipping is only for U.S. Contact me through PM to see if we can work out international at cost. PayPal only for the time being. Returns must be requested within 7 days and shipped back to me within an additional 7 days after that. No returns on graded items. Enjoy and hopefully, you'll find something you like.

I'm about to upgrade on this book, so I figured I'd throw this one out here first, before taking it elsewhere. Classic cover and Frazetta work inside. Rules: trumps PM Shipping is only for U.S. Will consider international shipping at costs. Items shipped in sturdy box (have been using Bags Unlimited mailer currently) and well padded Returns within 7 days upon receiving it. Comic Details: Calling this a VG- officially, but could definitely make a VG as the cover is solid minus the typical wear and small creasing Top staple hasn't completely popped at the insert, but has retreated. Cover is firm with both staples. One page inside has a small 3/4 inch tear at the bottom along the spine. Page is still firmly attached. Book is complete with no missing pieces. Price: $205 shipped
