1. They don't always come back... Okay, that doesn't make sense. But I still love this book.
2. I just picked up the first 9 TPBs on ebay the other day and I'm going through a TPB a night. Never thought I'd be a big Zombie fan. The one question I had without giving too much away is does it ever get explained why if someone dies( a regular death) they come back as a Zombie? I figured you needed to get bit by one to become one. It may have been answered in this thread, but no freakin way am I reading all of these pages.
3. Who was the first costumed villain Wonder Woman ever faced and in what issue did the story take place?
4. Merlin the Magician Zatara the Magician Balbo, the Boy Magician
5. He was either 52 or 53 in "75" . He does look younger, but looks more like an old time porn star. I wonder what REALLY went on in Stan's Bullpen!
6. Kudos to CAP Freak for the nice deal on some silver age marvels. No Kudos for the USPS that took forever to get them from the left coast to the east! The pony express would have been faster.
7. Big KUDOS to Cloudofwit for getting me that Wonder Woman 199 to me so fast! And it is a beautiful book too! Thanks!
8. [font:Arial Black] My FF purchase from Nik.... So I ask Nik if he will take $XX for his Fantastic Four #116. And he says "For you, sure I will". I then paid him and 2 days later I'm getting my book. Tons of bubble wrap all around and even an invoice too! Well I just have to say big [font:Arial Black] KUDOS TO NIK! Why can't all deals go as smooth as this! Perfect from start to finish! Nik's the man!!!
9. Here are some of my books that I got in last week. I was very happy!
10. Nik will have a hitman coming your way soon! Then maybe I'd get a shot at his Thor 137.
11. Just got the grades for my last group. I usually don't ask but what the heck. So the first one I just wanted to get into a holder. ASM #13 6.0 Our Army at War #158 Green River - 8.5 (I was hoping for a 9.0/9.2, but oh well) Hero For Hire #1 - 9.2 (actual thought it would get an 8.5) Avengers #53 - 9.4 (what I thought it would get) JLA #41 - 9.4 (what I thought it would get) My two big surprises! Adventure Comics #337 - 9.6  Adventure Comics #334 - 9.6  The 334 is tied with one other 9.6 as a top census book!
12. I've had a couple of books downgraded by them when I've sent it in... They give you the option of getting the books back or you authorize the downgrade and the lower trade/price value. Their automated system and buying process is pretty nice actually... You're always able to view the status of your books and trade process electronically. Thanks, looks like I have a whole pile of cr@p I can send to them.
13. Are they just as lousy on grading the books you send in for cah or trade? Or do they then become tighter then CGC?
14. Kudos to Tom ( trmoore54 ) for the nice copy of X-Men #11 that I won in the famous auction thread! Thanks again! Ernie
15. Age related sounds good to me. Maybe limited to Gold, Silver, Bronze and Copper/Modern. Also you might try having a rule that no more then 3 or 4 active threads at anytime. If you want to start a new one, you must close another.
16. Canada  No, my mom has a condo in Sarasota, Florida so that was the final destination but we made a crazy road trip out of it. Did you drop any books off with the fine folks at CGC while you were there?
17. Canada  I didn't realize there are American towns in Canada. The dollar is so bad, even Canadians are buying us out!
18. Big kudos to John (cd4ever) for the excellent deal on the Patsy Walker #10 in CGC 5.0! I think almost anyone that buys here knows that John is one heck of a seller and makes all of his sales fun for us! Thank you again for all of the great deals you have! I also hope that beautiful new baby daughter has come into your life! Ernie
19. YES! YES! YES! I totally agree! I enjoy OT posts! If something big happened in the the world, I want to talk about it with fellow CGC forum members. If someone makes a post about Ohio State, well I don't really care, I just don't look at it(and anyways BC will kick their butt, BID) Comic general is where almost everyone hangs out! I love the silver age, but I rarely have time to ever go into that part of the boards. So, when we were ranking the top books of different ages, should those posts have gone under, silver, bronze, art etc. or were they better served by having them listed in the General? I think most of us would agree General is where they should have been. Heck, I think it was almost 2 years before I ever really knew that there was a place called the Water Cooler and it probably took me a few weeks to even find the place. General feels like I'm 16 again hanging out at the park (or the mall) with my buds and shootin the *spoon* with each other! But that's just me!
20. I don't get it? Why were the posts pulled? Probably the complaning party and the complantee mutually agreed to have them pulled? If that was the case I'm glad that they could work it out.
21. SJ, shipping was clearly defined in the first post, you knew what you wanted why didn't you send a PM before trying to get the shipping charges lowered? Shipping: Will be at cost. If in doubt then drop me a PM but it all depends on the number of books and how you want them sent. 1-4 books will be around the $12 mark if sent airmail. If i under-estimate i will reimburse you after they are sent and if i over estimate i will cover the rest. Surface mail is the way to go on large lots, it's cheap but not very quick. Would you do this on an ebay BIN? No, so you shouldn't do it here either. But that's just my
