  1. Brian that is one amazing book! Some super books greggy. What was the flaw that put the Cap 115 at 8.5, it looks just as nice as the 9.2. ( and they both look nicer then that, just my )
  2. That the core of the Gerber board is slightly alkaline, which is in keeping with the fact that it is lignin free and buffered at 3% calcium carbonate throughout, and that the BCW boards are highly acidic underneath the thin coating of calcium carbonate sitting on top of the board. One more thing I left out - it also means that the 30-year pulp and paper dude who supposedly said that the interior of the BCW board is less acidic than the Gerber board doesn't know what he's talking about. Thanks for the Cliff note version I appreciate it. (thumbs u
  3. I just jumped in here late to the game and since I'm not a chemist what is the above picture showing me?
  4. If these are still available for $1 each Flash 156 Brave and the Bold 75 Captain Marvel 9 Captain Marvel 11 Sub-Mariner 7 Flash 138 Tales to Astonish 70
  5. Yes, I've purchased from the "comic-keys" pedigree. I purchased from Comic-keys, but I'm not listed.
  6. Can't do that, we are too close to 1,000 posts in it. So we need a poll:
  7. I feel like Bat-Man unknowingly purchased "stolen" property. He had no idea that the book was Matts. But after finding this out I myself feel he should be a gentleman and offer the book to Matt for his costs. Yannis is totally in the wrong, and I feel sorry for his loss. Matt also had a loss and my condolances go out to the both of you. Since I can't see a way for Yannis to ever get off of the probation thread I either would suggest a 6 month probation or just figure this thread is punishment enough. Bat-Man shouldn't go on it, but still in my mind this was Matt's book. This would make a nice case for the Judge Judy.
  8. Is this the sales thread that had the Tec #37 when you sold it Roy? http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=3577921&fpart=1 Either way you guys won't find the answer in there.
  9. Hulk head hurts from this thread! Flee though makes Hulk laugh with funny picture. hahaha (Actually I was drinking something and almost choked from laughing so hard.)
  10. Kudos to silverweb on a smooth transaction on the Thor slab! Kudos also to Arcade on another smooth transaction on the X-Men 45 slab! Thanks again!
  11. Kudos to TSwift25 on the quick payment on a NM 98. Thanks!
  12. Deadpool is the last major character? Really, wow that's not saying much for the comic industry.
  13. Congrats on the purchase, I would never have done it, but that's just me. Just out of curiousity what will you pay for the first 10.0 when that comes out?
  14. The sad part is to get it to $12000+ there had to be more than one insane person bidding.
  15. Congratulations to Flee for Thread of the Month for October! :applause:
  16. Drat, I was afraid of that. I could have sworn I saw a Dave Cockrum fan letter in an early issue of X-Men, too. He also had one in FF #44
